The 17-year-old is in juvenile detention for violating his probation but that’s not stopping him from releasing music. His latest single is ‘Make It Clap’ — listen and tell us what you think!

Chief Keef is making sweet music, from behind bars. The 17-year-old is turning his jail stint into an opportunity to focus on his new music. The hip hop star took to Twitter on Feb. 13 to release his latest song: “Make It Clap.”

Chief Keef Releases New Song

He posted the song on Twitter with the message: “New Chief Keef – Make It Clap Ft Ballout & Dro.”

This isn’t the first time that he’s released a song while in jail. He just recently posted “I Got Cash.” He talks about how when he goes to the mall he doesn’t look at price tags — lucky guy.

What Else Has Chief Has Been Doing In Jail

We told you that he has also started advertising “Free Sosa” T-shirts on Twitter. The nickname is also a lyric in his song “Love Sosa.” The t-shirts are said to be selling out like crazy.

Chief Keef also announced some very exciting news, he’s going to be going to be performing on March 23!

“@ChiefKeef march 23 show in Indiana geneses center see you there …Sosa baby….”

It sounds like he’s keeping his head up despite recent troubles because he recently said: “all publicity is good publicity.” Plus, there were reports that he might get dropped from Interscope.

What do you think of Chief Keef’s new single and do you think it’s cool he’s releasing songs from jail?
