The designer sent Oscar-worthy gowns down the red carpet — and you can check out the gorgeous looks that came down the runway right here!
The Monique Lhuillier show took place at Lincoln Center during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in NYC on Feb. 9, where the designer’s collection exuded elegance and gorgeous, red carpet glamour. From brocade looks to lace and a slew of embellishments, it was all about the intricate detailing. While the Spring 2013 collection was very under the sea, the latest collection boasted a similar color palette.
Along with the hues of green and blues we saw vibrant reds, blacks and metallics. While the gowns stole the show the collection was versatile with a slew of separates also coming down the runway, including blouses and cigarette pants. We also saw cocktail dresses and swing dresses.
From Emmy Rossum to Ashley Greene and Nina Dobrev, I could see a slew of young stars showing off the gorgeous looks. An a-line metallic cocktail dress was just begging to be worn by Amanda Seyfried, while a strapless green gown with a thigh-high slit and a draped bodice looked like something we could expect to see on the sexy and stylish Eva Longoria. Regardless of who wears the collection first, there’s no denying the fact that whoever it is is sure to steal the spotlight in one of the feminine pieces from the Fall 2013 line.
