Chris Dorner is in the midst of a shootout fit for a Hollywood film. The alleged murderer is on a rampage as sort of a vigilante, trying to bring to justice those he believe had to do with his firing from the police force in 2009.

Media helicopters have been asked by authorities and the FAA to pull back because they are in danger. Currently, the ex-LAPD officer is barricaded in a cabin in Big Bear and he’s armed.
The search for Chris has been going on for over a week and many were worried that he would cross over the border into Mexico. There has been a 1 million dollar reward for his capture and thousands of people have sent in tips. Even a Lowes was evacuated because someone thought they saw Chris there.
The LA police recently said: “Until we can confirm that he’s either there or he’s not there, this investigation has to stick with what we know and what we know is that we found evidence that he was there.”
Chris was spotted by scuba equipment in Torrance, Calif., on Feb. 1, two days before he killed the police union rep’s daughter Monica Quan and her fiance Keith Lawrence.
