The former ‘American Idol’ winner really knows how to put on a good show! She shined — literally — on stage at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards on Feb. 10!

Carrie Underwood, 29, lit up the stage at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards on Feb. 10 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. The blonde beauty won an award for Best Country Solo Performance, sang a medley of her number one hits, “Blown Away” and “Two Black Cadillacs.” During this spectacular performance, Carrie decided she wanted to put on a show — on her dress!

Carrie stood in place as various images were projected onto her ivory Theia dress with LED lights. She said,”We wanted it to be artful and dramatic.” The “Blown Away” singer explained that she likes to stand still and sing. She thought this was the best way to do that by creating something visually attention grabbing, and beautiful. Carrie said that “they can do a lot of amazing things with projectors these days,” as she held onto her trophy. They had this dress specially made and Carrie said “I should take that home and we can watch movies on it.” She looked elegant and exceptional in that beautifully crafted dress.

The stylish singer also wowed the Red Carpet wearing a black strapless Roberto Cavalli gown, paired with a 381 carat Johnathon Arndt necklace decorated with oval, pear, marquise, and round white diamonds that cost her a whopping $31 million!

The country singer also expressed her feelings towards her music. “I feel like country music out of Nashville is something that– I don’t want to say has been overlooked for a long time but, I feel like we’ve always done so amazing.” She said, “the Grammy producers did a really good job of having a little bit of everything and it’s amazing. I’m proud to have been part of that representing Nashville.”
