Beyonce is about to embark on a new world tour, The Mrs. Carter Show, but before she travels around the world, the new mom donned some of the sexiest outfits she’s ever worn for the March 2013 “Power Issue” of Vogue, with looks by Oscar de la Renta, Alexander McQueen and Haider Ackermann.
A few weeks before Beyonce sang that National Anthem at the Presidential Inauguration, Beyonce, 31, invited Vogue writer Jason Gay into her life to create the interview that’s fleshed out inside the pages of March’s Vogue.
Beyonce may have showed a bit of skin on the cover of GQ in February 2013, she took a more elegant route in these new photos, shot by Patrick Demarchelier. She also revealed new details regarding her forthcoming album and HBO documentary, airing February 16.
Beyonce’s New Album
“I’m going to be tweaking,” Beyonce says, smiling. “I still have things to figure out.”
Making Life Is But a Dream for HBO was an exercise in self-exposure for the pop star. “My story has never been told,” she says. “I don’t feel like I have to please anyone. I feel free. I feel like I’m an adult,” Beyonce says.
