Chris Brown Gives Rihanna Standing Ovation At Grammys

Rihanna gave a heartwarming performance of ‘Stay’ in front of Chris Brown at the Grammys on Feb. 10. And the song is no doubt meant for him!

Rihanna hit the stage without Chris Brown on Sunday night, Feb. 10, at the 2013 Grammys, but it was still amazing! Her performance of “Stay” was gorgeously simple and had us on our knees!

Rihanna’s slow, intimate rendition of “Stay” with Mikky Ekko was tender and beautiful — an amazing addition to her repertoire, which usually features tenacity and fierceness.

With the stage decorated simply and starkly, the “Diamonds” singer stunned and put on an understatedly sexy show.

Rihanna’s night was an all-around success. Not only was her performance incredible, she also took home a Grammy Award for the Best Short Form Music Video, for “We Found Love.”

Though the two did sit together at the show, Rihanna and Chris Brown didn’t perform together like the rumors hinted at. There was a ton of anticipation about the two teaming up on stage – we were definitely looking forward to it. Before the show, a source close to Rihanna told HollywoodLife.com exclusively that Rihanna “was leaning towards ‘Nobody’s Business’ weeks ago and wanted Chris to bust out with her on stage,” though the source also added, “I don’t know if she thought the power that be would let that happen.”

So RiRi definitely decided to go in a different direction, though it’s unclear if the Grammys and CBS wouldn’t let Chris join his girl on stage (but he did give his GF a standing O after her performance).

But she didn’t need him – her performance was on fire!

Rihanna of course has a tumultuous Grammys past – four years ago, Chris Brown infamously assaulted her after a Grammys pre-party – but we’re happy to see that she’s strong enough to get through it and that she looks better than ever.

I am a huge Rihanna fan & am worried about her. I don’t know her or Chris personally – as none of you probably do either – so I can’t speak for them as people, but I seriously hope they work out and that he is rehabilitated and in control of his anger. She said in an interview, “Even if it’s a mistake, it’s my mistake.” Yes, they are a beautiful couple. Beauty isn’t everything. I just truly hope that she stays safe.

Let me clear this one up for folk who don’t know. Ike Turner was a woman beater and mel Gibson. They really beat their women a****. Old men, that constantly beat their woman repeatedly. How anyone could label Chris as a woman beater is because of a lack of knowledge. He made a mistake. Let the past, be the past. Only God is the rightful judge. What is real, is how beautiful they looked together. The King and Queen of Grammy night. All the negative vibe could affect them, especially if they don’t pray or have praying parents. The vultures will always be waiting for the worse. Praying……..will be their only defense. Cuddles to Rhianna and Chris and lots and lots of prayer. They are an inspiration for this world to experience on real love and how to forgive. If you look through ones fault you will see what we all need from one another…..love, peace, and forgiveness. If what they have found together is really love, standby and watch them continue to conquer this world and all its troubles against them. I too, will be in that crowd of observers. Love always win. Sin falls in the bend.

In my mind Chris and Rihanna won the biggest Grammy trophy that night, the gift of freedom, to live and express your self without a care in the world. That is the greatest prices you can give any human being who have ever been incarcerated, be it emotional, physically or mentally.

I am glad their lives came full circle and they were able to relive a 4yr nightmare in such a glorious way that it should have been.

The only downside is that Chris didn’t take home that Grammy also which would have been epic, O’ well he took the best price of the night home RIHANNA….. Shine Bright Like A Diamond Lol!.

Hope we get a film made about this two children later in future, its worth it. HL have to commend u, your write ups so far are becoming well thought and professional

Rihanna is a doll: dress her up & give her songs, she is not an artist, so I can’t expect great vocals from her. Rihanna isn’t a vocal artist & her hair was a bad weave job, google her hair at the Grammys, horrible job done. But Mikko sang it very good, when music was really music, artist wrote their own songs & sang them with feeling as if they wrote it from the heart. She looked as if she was faking emotion, As for her & Chris, like she says its her “mistake”, & if Chris hits her again, she shouldn’t receive any sympathy, or go on press release or Oprah, and as role model she says she’s not & doesn’t want to be one, what kind of role model smokes weed everyday, in a relationship with an abuser, & takes vulgar pics on social networks? seems like she wants attention & to stay relevant. Lets just say in her entire singing career so far she will never be considered a timeless artist or have the best image award, hopefully she doesn’t have any kids in the near future, & if she does have kids, I hope there singing to her “Don’t Judge Me” cause her act is going to take more than rehab to clean it up.

I loved her hair and her dress/ Her performance was great she sounded really good she has come a very very long way with her vocals she hit every note!!! And Chris (smh) bayyybeee he looked so damn good and very healthy and more importantly happy for a change.
