J. Lo didn’t let the wardrobe warning from CBS prevent her from showing some skin — her entire toned leg, that is! During the 2013 Grammys, she poked fun at the dress code that prevented guests from wearing scandalous clothing. Read on to find out what she said!
Jennifer Lopez, 43, has nothing to hide when it comes to her rocking bod — and she showed plenty of skin at the 2013 Grammys! Despite the memo from CBS that warned attendees not to show too much flesh, the “Dance Again” singer revealed her sexy toned leg in a high slit dress.
“They didn’t say anything about legs!” she told Ryan. “I thought I was being such a good girl.”
Later when she took the stage to present the award for best pop solo performance with rapper Pitbull, she poked fun at herself again.
“So, as you can see, I read the memo,” Jennifer joked with a side-by-side photo of the risque Versace gown she wore to the 2001 Grammys. “You look beautiful, you look gorgeous and you inspired the memo,” Pitbull shot back. “Yikes,” Jennifer joked in response. “Maybe.”
The Grammys & CBS Issue Wardrobe Advisory
Even though Jennifer’s dress could be seen as scandalous, she was right — CBS didn’t say that legs were off limits.
“Please be sure that buttocks and female breasts are adequately covered. Thong type costumes are problematic. Please avoid exposing bare fleshy under curves of the buttocks and buttock crack. Bare sides or under curvature of the breasts is also problematic,” CBS’ email read, which was sent out to all attendees.
“Please avoid sheer see-through clothing that could possibly expose female breast nipples. Please be sure the genital region is adequately covered so that there is no visible “puffy’ bare skin exposure,” it continued.
Even though J. Lo was still within the memo guidelines, she still looked incredibly sexy — and we love seeing her toned legs!
