Everyone’s on high alert during this year’s red carpet portion of the Grammy Awards, because CBS put a wardrobe advisory in place, banning sideboobs, buttocks and more inappropriate showings of skin. While Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry and Ashanti showed a lot of sideboob at pre-Grammy parties over the weekend, Carly Rae Jepsen, Chris Brown and Justin Timberlake kept their dresses and suits covering their intimate body parts.

“I think it’s just, you know, we should always stay classy and dress according to the event that’s being held,” Ashanti said on the red carpet, referring to the wardrobe advisory. “So I don’t think people should be limited so much and told what you can and cannot do. But, you know, you do have to have a certain class and prestige about yourself.”

Carly Rae compared picking out her dress to Disney princess Ariel getting her legs. When she finally chose the gorgeous gown, she said she felt like she “had legs.”

Chris Brown did not walk the carpet with his girl Rihanna, but he did wear all white from head to toe!

Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift kept it classic in black and white. Carrie chose a glittering black and grey patterned Roberto Cavalli gown, plus a diamond necklace. Taylor wore a Marilyn Monroe-esque gown with silver detailing.

Katy wore a mint green gown, “inspired by Priscilla Presley,” and showed off a bit of sideboob! And Jennifer Lopez also pushed the envelope as she exposed her entire right leg with a very revealing black gown!
