One Direction’s rep says that Zayn isn’t leaving the band — how happy are you?

Despite reports claiming that Zayn Malik wanted to go his own path, it turns out his staying with the boys of One Direction!

What Zayn’s Rep Is Saying About The Reports

A spokesperson says: “Zayn isn’t leaving the band.” This is great because the guys just did their new single “One Way Or Another” for Comic Relief and it was awesome! We love them together and don’t want them to split. Plus, they’re set to perform at the BRIT Awards on Feb. 20!

A source close to Zayn told HollywoodLife.com exclusively, “He will not quit the band and Simon will make sure that everyone in the band is on the same page and is helping out in any way possible over anyone’s concerns. There have been growing pains with the celebrity but breaking from the band is waaaaay overhyped and not true.”

How The Quitting Report Got Started

It all started when a source close to Celebuzz claimed that: “there is growing concern among the bosses that Zayn is on the brink at the moment…He feels that the last six months have been his toughest in the band yet.”

Adding: “Even before the cheating scandal, Zayn was steering clear of nights out with his bandmates and sometimes would skip media events. He has been quite low at several points when being away for key family celebrations. But his pals have cheered him up. People forget he is the shyest member. Naturally, he likes the adoration and his day job, but he is battling to cope with the pressure which comes with it.”

Zayn was even reportedly offered extra days off to give him a break!
