As Rihanna gears up for her big Grammys weekend, she’s making it clear to friends that, come the big day, there will only be one man on her side: Chris Brown!
Just like Rihanna, 24, has been by Chris’ side as he’s dealt with his recent legal troubles, the R&B bad boy, 23, will be on the Unapologetic singer’s arm at the Staples Center in L.A. on Feb. 10, four years after the two were involved in the infamous assault that changed both of their lives.
A friend close to Rihanna tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively, “Rihanna’s turned up and getting into that performers frame of mind right now. She’s focused and looking forward the the Grammys and [she] will be with Chris the whole night, so you know that’s going to be extra f**king special. He already told her he would go with her, so its a wrap.”
Rihanna & Chris Brown’s Troubled Week Before The Grammys
While the two may be looking to have a little fun come Grammys night, the days preceding the event have been considerably more morose. On Jan. 5, Chris faced an allegation that he’d doctored his community service records, thereby violating the terms of his probation.
He and his lawyer were ordered to appear in court the following day to respond the the District Attorney’s claims, but Chris has one more important person with him as he arrived: Rihanna. The two were spotted leaving his house together before arriving at the courthouse.
While in the courtroom, Rihanna reportedly blew her beau a kiss, as she sat in the gallery with his mother, Joyce Hawkins. After the hearing was over, she and Chris emerged from the courtroom arm-in-arm.
