Emma Watson Defends Kristen Stewart After Affair

Although some people harshly criticized K-Stew after her affair with Rupert Sanders, fellow actress Emma Watson did just the opposite and totally has Kristen’s back!

Kristen Stewart, 22, shocked the world when pictures surfaced of her in the arms of her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, 42. K-Stew dealt with some heavy scrutiny after the affair broke, but Robert Pattinson‘s Harry Potter co-start Emma Watson, 22, is coming to the rescue! In an interview with Vanity Fair Italia, Emma shared her thoughts on the harsh media criticism Kristen received.

“Those who criticized her are the same people that think that being rich and famous is like being covered in some kind of magic powder that makes life perfect: Nothing can go wrong in your wonderful world,” Emma explained in the February 2013 issue. “For these people, Kristen deserves all the bad things that have been thrown at her because she had an amazing life and she ruined it.”

She added, “I don’t know how to explain it, but it sure isn’t perfect. I thought that the media picked on her in a very horrible way. Kristen is human, just like everybody else, and she’s so young. Everyone makes mistakes, everyone. It’s not fair to consider them matters of public interest.”

Although Emma is totally on Kristen’s side, she can also see why people were so upset when news of the affair broke.

“On one hand, I can understand why it happened: people felt really involved in her relationship with Robert Pattinson. But it’s also true that they both have done everything in their power to keep their relationship as far from the public eye as possible.”

Rob & Kris ARE still together and have NEVER been on a ‘trial separation’ – visit my blog and I’ll PROVE it to you. :) Every time you click into these “Robsten” articles – makes these gossip rags a few pennies and just happens to hurt you at the same time because of YOUR “real feeling” Twilight obsession. I agree with Emma…..Unfortunately there are people all over the world having affairs and doing bad stuff, but because K Stew is in the public eye it’s a bigt DEAL!!…Don’t get me wrong, I don’t condone cheating on spouses, but I mean people of authority and high rankings cheat, look at those that have children and their family doesn’t find out til afterwards, Clinton, Arnold Swartzzzz, that politician that had a baby while his wife had cancer, Dan Marino..the list goes on and on!!!..So why such harsh jugement on K Stew…….She made a mistake and it’s between her & Rob if they want to forgive and move on!!. There are more serious things go on in the world! Give it a REST!!!

No. A married person going after another person is wrong. He has the contract (marriage) with his wife (Liberty ross — significant other), and if he chooses to violate the terms of it he is making the mistake. Kristen, on the other hand, may have had some sort of understanding with Rob that they would be monogamous and not cheat. If so, she would be wrong in violating that presumably unwritten contract.

My point is that each person in these relationships has an understanding with his own significant other, but not the other person’s. I don’t know why people don’t get that in these blogs. While cheating may be tacky to all concerned, the actually responsibility is limited to that.

I hope this is clear. The principle is simple but writing it is complicated for my funky little brain.

Hollywood gossip mags and paparazzi SURE seem to have it in for Kristen, don’t they? They DO!! Visit my blog and I will SHOW you HOW they pitt us against each other, Twihards – cuz that is EXACTLY what they are doing. NONE of this stuff is actually about Kristen and/or Robert!! It’s about getting us to click in here so the person who wrote this crap can make a few PENNIES off of you, AND it’s about ‘making fun of us’!

@paola,If emma dosent like ppl to still talk about the cheating scandal then why is she talking about it emma should know that by talking about it again ppl will start talking abou it and it just seems that emma just wabted ppl to talk about her and admired her because if she mentions kristen in her interview there would be articles about it and ppl will read it it just seems that emma wanted attention from ppl and now the fans love her because she defended kristen when i remember that kristen fans use to talk badly about emma is she was in the same category with kristen and if emma wins and beats kristen the dans would talk badly sbout emma but now emma defends kristen now everybody loves her and that just seems lame.

We are all so much in the dark about the scandal that it is amazing we have so much to say and so many baseless opinions. The scandal may have happened because Kristen loves Robert but is not “in love” with him any more. Hence, she was vulnerable to advances by Rupert. Who knows? Certainly not me or any of the other outsiders in here. I’ve grown very tired of this problem set in general. I just hope they will be able to resolve their issues soon and move on amicably, whether together or apart.

The same goes for Rupert and his wife, Liberty Ross. Apparently they are splitting the sheets. That is too bad for their kids, but maybe the best solution overall. His wife has been publicly seeing other men, which is also tacky. Rupert and she should break up quickly at this point, if that is true. As an irrelevant side remark, she is supposed to be a “runway model” I believe, but I think she is weird looking, and neither beautiful or even pretty in pictures. Maybe she just doesn’t photograph well, but even that would be strange for a runway model. Usually, people in this group knock my socks off, they are so gorgeous, but not Ms. Ross. Hmmmm . . .

Seriously blown out of scale. Since when do is a kiss cheating? One would have to be so naive as to believe Kristen has everything to do with this. Something must have been wrong in their marriage. Now we know it was wrong. Sanders wanted to support . Was weakened by the situation at home and thought maybe something else and tried with it. It did not work. No sex with Kristen. But Pattz at the first opportunity ended up in bed and gave sex, hmmm

It’s disgusting how so many in HW like to make excuses for a grown woman who messed around with a married man and broke up a marriage. That’s not a mistake it was a choice and being young is no excuse for being morally bankrupt. I wonder will Emma be as understanding if/when her bf cheats on her? Somehow I doubt it…

A woman can’t break up a marriage if the man doesn’t want it to be broken. Women don’t have magical powers to make a man screw around on his wife! I don’t care if Kristen showed up butt naked on Rupert’s door step saying take me. If he truly loved his family there is no amount of vajayjay being thrown in his face will make him cheat. They were both wrong but Kristen wasn’t married with children Rupert was plus he was older. You know it wasn’t the first time he stepped out on Liberty either. All of his skeletons probably came out of the closet in therapy and Liberty decided to hit the bricks.
