The ‘Teen Mom 2′ star’s estranged husband is reportedly headed for jail after a run-in with the law in South Carolina. Her lawyer Dustin R.T. Sullivan revealed to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY why he was picked up by authorities.

Courtland Rogers has been on a downward spiral ever since estranged wife Jenelle Evans separated from him in January while she was pregnant with his child. He was spotted in a secret video cutting and snorting a white drug-looking substance, and now his baby mama Taylor Lewis is claiming he is in the hospital and facing jail time.

Courtland Rogers’ Assault Charges

On Jan. 23, Jenelle filed six charges against her husband while she was still pregnant — four counts of assault on a female, and two counts of battery on an unborn child — and the charges are still outstanding.

According to Taylor, Courtland turned himself in to the authorities.

“Just got the best phone call ever from @courtyb11,” Taylor tweeted on Feb. 5. “Thank you for turning yourself in and doing what’s best for [their one-year-old daughter] Jordan.”

But Courtland didn’t go straight to jail — he made a pitstop at a hospital on the way. Taylor revealed on Twitter that he wasn’t behind bars just yet, and had to go to the hospital for a reason she wouldn’t say.

“He’s in the hospital..not jail! He will go to jail..whenn he leaves the hospital,” she wrote on Twitter.

Jenelle Evan’s Lawyer Dustin R. T. Sullivan Speaks Out About Arrest

Even though Jenelle’s lawyer Dustin R. T. Sullivan doesn’t know the exact details of Courtland’s arrest, he explained that he was picked up in another county than the charges were filed.

“I’ve heard that he was picked up at a different county,” Dustin reveals to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “If he was picked up in a different county, it could mean that they probably served him in a different county, or it could mean that he committed an offense in a different county.”

Jenelle even confirmed that Courtland had been in a hospital in South Carolina, and she filed her charges in their North Carolina county. But even though he still has those six charges facing him from Jenelle, Courtland’s arrest could also have been due to something else.

“It could have been completely unrelated,” Dustin adds. “I heard that he was picked up in another county based on something else, and then they served him on the unserved warrants (on the assault charges against Jenelle).”

So whether Courtland turned himself in or was arrested, it looks like he’s taking steps to deal with his issues — and will hopefully be healthy and clean for his daughter!
