Girls star Zosia Mamet appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on Feb. 2, where the 25-year-old shed her character’s conservative image in a red velvet keyhole dress, giving the audience quite an eyeful! The strategic keyhole cutout put her cleavage, (and sideboob), on full display while she chatted with the talk show host.
Sideboob was a hot red carpet trend in 2012 — and it looks like the chest cutout may be taking it’s place! Zosia paired her red hot cap-sleeve dress with simple studs, black booties and a ponytail. Wearing her hair back definitely didn’t distract from her very revealing ensemble — a smart choice since she apparently wanted to flaunt her assets! Statement rings completed the outfit. Feb. 2 just so happened to be Zosia’s birthday — and what better way to standout than in a revealing dress?
While I commend the Girls star for taking a risk and stepping out of her comfort zone, I didn’t really love the way she styled the whole ensemble. I thought her tight ponytail looked a bit messy — and with a dress that sexy you need to commit to full-on glamour! I would have liked it better if the star added a little edge to her ponytail or swept her hair to one side in retro waves. I also thought the black booties were way too clunky — a simple pair of pumps or sexy sandals would have looked way better.
