According to a new report, photos are being shopped around that show Justin at a party, where ‘sizzurp’ and marijuana were being served. Lucky for you, HollywoodLife.com was given the exclusive details behind the reported photos!
Is Justin Bieber engaging in more risky behavior? TMZ is reporting that they’ve seen photos of the 18-year-old pop star partying with Lil Twist and Lil Za with a bottle of codeine cough syrup, known as “sizzurp,” nearby.
Justin was allegedly photographed drinking an unknown substance out of a double cup, according to TMZ.
However, a source close to Justin spoke to HollywoodLife.com exclusively and said, “It’s total nonsense.” He wasn’t drinking sizzurp.
TMZ has yet to publish the reported photos.
Justin Bieber’s Marijuana Controversy
On Jan. 4, the site did publish photos of Justin, Lil Twist and Lil Za with what appeared to be a marijuana cigarette in a California hotel room.
“Everyday growing and learning. Trying to be better. U get knocked down, u get up,” Justin tweeted on Jan. 5, which is the closest he came to acknowledging the controversy. “I see all of u. I hear all of u. I never want to let any of you down. I love u.”
What Is Sizzurp?
Rappers such as Lil’ Wayne have openly spoken about downing “sizzurp” out of double cups, giving the user a serious narcotic high.
Sizzurp consists of promethazine with codeine syrup, any fruit flavored soda, and a jolly rancher, mixed together, according to Urban Dictionary.
The website adds, “Put it all in a styrofoam cup and enjoy. The codeine is mainly responsible for the euphoria felt after drinking sizzurp. Promethazine causes motor skill impairment, lethargy, and extreme drowsiness. If it doesn’t have promethazine, it ain’t real sizzurp.”
HollywoodLife.com reached out to Justin’s reps, but have not received a response thus far. We couldn’t reach Lil Twist or Lil Za for comment.
