2013 Super Bowl Ads

Babies! Boobs! Bad accents! Watch five of this year’s most highly anticipated Super Bowl ads.

Happy Super Bowl Eve! The big game is almost here, which means it’s almost time to pretend you undertand what the heck is going on while you wait patiently for the real fun to start: the commercials. HollywoodLife.com put together a preview of some of this year’s biggest ads, ranging from sexy to adorable to… well… kind of racist.

(UPDATE: Best Super Bowl Commercials Of 2013: Naya Rivera, The Rock & More)

Kia Sorento Super Bowl Commercial: ‘Space Babies’

“Where do babies come from?” is hardly a new question, but never before has it been answered with such epic cuteness. This year’s ad from the imaginative goons at Kia Sorento transports us all to Babylandia, a planet filled with babies — both human and animal — waiting to be launched through space, until they “penetrate” Earth’s atmosphere and are “released” to their parents. It’s weird and gross and I love it.

Volkswagen’s Super Bowl Ad: ‘Get In. Get Happy.’

There are many words to describe this year’s VW ad, but most people are choosing to go with the word “racist.” Why you ask? Well, basically, it features a bunch of people imitating Jamaican accents — and in case you’re not able to tell, the majority of them are white as hell. Personally, I like to think they’re all just imitating Sebastian from The Little Mermaid, but that’s because I always look for the best in people. Or so my therapist tells me.

GoDaddy.com’s Super Bowl Commercial: Perfect Match — Bar Refaeli’s Big Kiss!

Feast your eyes on the luckiest nerd on Earth! (And no, “feast” was not meant to be a fat joke, even though the nerd in this commercial is totally fat.) Go Daddy enlisted Israeli swimsuit model Bar Refaeli for its 2013 Super Bowl ad to prove that sex sells — even when one of the participants is a portly, pasty programmer. How could Bar go from Leonardo DiCaprio to this guy?! (Oh, right, they paid her a s**t ton of money. Carry on.)

Coca-Cola’s Super Bowl Ad: ‘Coke Chase’

What do you get when you combine a cowboy, a bus full of showgirls, a motorcycle madman, and a crew of offensively stereotypical Arab men? Coca-Cola’s ‘choose your own adventure’ commercial for the Super Bowl! Fans can vote for the outcome of their choice on CokeChase.com, but let’s be real: I’m more interested in how the hell all these people got here than I am with how it’ll all end.

Mercedes-Benz’s Super Bowl Commercial, Starring Kate Upton

And just to prove some things never go out of style, here’s Kate Upton washing a car. In a bikini. In slow motion.

HollywoodLifers, which of these commercials is your favorite? Drop us a comment with the ad you’re most excited to see this Sunday!

Your review on the Bar Rafaeli’s add was pretty rude, who cares if the guy is not skinny? It’s not like you have Ryan Gosling’s body…

I get paid over $87 per hour working from home with 2 kids at home. I never thought I’d be able to do it but my best friend earns over 10k a month doing this and she convinced me to try. The potential with this is endless. Heres what I’ve been doing, Fox76.comCHECK IT OUT

The ad may be considered racist by some people … but us Germaicans say, “come to Jamaica and feel alright.” Capture the Real Spirit of Jamaica in “In Praise of Jamaica”–The Book:   Visit Amazon OR the web-site www.inpraiseofjamaica.com for details on Jamaica’s Wonders, Heroes and Achievements.”

Kia Sorento Space Babies was the best. The Coke was the next best. The rest (VW, Mercedes, Go Daddy) tie for worst.
