The 49ers cornerback apologized for his anti-comments on Jan. 29, but all may not be forgiven for the NFL player.

Chris Culliver shamed his team, the San Francisco 49ers, when he bashed the gay community in an interview with Artie Lange on Jan. 29, claiming that gays are not welcome in their locker room. So far, the 49ers have not said if Chris will play in Sunday’s Super Bowl game against the Baltimore Ravens on Feb. 3, according to TMZ.

Chris’ Interview With Artie Lange

“I don’t do the gay guys. I don’t do that,” Chris, 24, told Artie Lange on his radio show Jan. 29, via Yahoo! Sports, when asked if a gay teammate would be welcomed in the locker room.

When asked if there were any gay players on the 49ers, Chris said, “We don’t have any gay guys on the team. They gotta get up outta here if they do. Can’t be with that sweet stuff.”

And if someone were gay, Chris suggests, “Yeah, come out 10 years later after that.”

The 49ers & Chris Release Statements

The 49ers quickly released a statement Jan. 30, saying, “The San Francisco 49ers reject the comments that were made yesterday, and have addressed the matter with Chris. There is no place for discrimination within our organization at any level. We have and always will proudly support the LGBT community.”

Chris released his own statement on the evening of Jan. 30, when he said, “The derogatory comments I made yesterday were a reflection of thoughts in my head, but they are not how I feel. It has taken me seeing them in print to realize that they are hurtful and ugly. Those discriminating feelings are truly not in my heart. Further, I apologize to those who I have hurt and offended, and I pledge to learn and grow from this experience.”

Reza Farahan Is Pissed Off At Chris Culliver

One person who’s not amused? Shahs of Sunset star Reza Farahan, who hopes the 49ers LOSE at the Super Bowl because of Chris. “I hope you guys lose ’cause you’re a douchebag!” Reza told TMZ as he whipped his middle fingers in the air.

He added, “Don’t talk s**t about the gays motherf**ker! 49ers are going down!!!”

Should Chris Be Banned From The Super Bowl?

What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Should Chris be banned from the Super Bowl?

The 49’ers represent San Francisco, a city that embraces diversity. The comments he made were as hurtful and offensive as someone saying that blacks were not welcomed in clubhouses for golf… We are a society that is evolving to recognize all. If you are uncomfortable with homosexuality, don’t choose a same sex partner. I would love to see the 49’ers bench his sorry butt. The club will make a statement that will last longer than a damn super Bowl victory if they make the right call here.

America’s Slow Suicide !

I’ll be short and blunt. Jesus stated (in Luke 17) that just before His return to earth as Judge, two big “crazes” will happen worldwide at the same time: (1) insane violence (“days of Noah”), and (2) outrageous sexual perversion (“days of Lot” – see Gen. 19). Aren’t beheadings, cannibalism, and school and church shootings violent? And what’s more perverted than a mob trying to rape LITERAL angels (see Gen. 19 again)?! So, America, keep spitting on God. But you’d better duck fast when He spits back!!

Artie Lange is the moron for even bringing this stuff up.
If anybody is trying to hurt homosexuals – its Artie.
So… if goats don’t bang Artie, does it make him animal hater? Some nuts on TV are getting dumber by the minutes more they stay on TV shows.

That is another good point. Even asking the question was asking for a little controversy. He should be getting some kind of backlash for asking it.

I think banning him from the Superbowl after putting in work with the rest of the team to get there is a little much. While he obviously used a poor choice of words his point was he doesn’t want to be surrounded with it which is his opinion. Lgbt community its a cold world and not everyone agrees with you they aren’t going to so yu have to ease up on the sensitivity. Btw I personally dnt care either way bcuz its not my business how anyone else but myself is living.

OMG seriously? You want to ban him from playing in the Super Bowl b/c he doesn’t like gay people? I guess this should be a wake up call to HOLLYWOOD who makes it seem that the whole world is okay with gay people. They wonder why when people “come out” in rural parts of the world they get picked on. It’s not okay in other parts of the world besides Hollywood and New York.

You guys have no idea what you are talking about when it comes to sports. The 49ers have not played in a SB in 18 years. They cannot win without Culliver. There is ZERO chance he does not play. Absolutely none. It’s laughable for non-sports entities to even bring this up.
