Watch out Kourtney Kardashian! On the new season of Kourtney & Kim Take Miami, we see that Scott Disick has a new VIP in his life — professional race car driver Chapman Ducote! We chatted with Chapman and he spilled the beans on Scott’s proposal plans and Kim Kardashian‘s baby shower!
In the premiere episode, Scott is introduced to Chapman while looking at an office space to rent. He stumbled across Chapman’s waterfront property and it was like love at first sight for the two gentleman.
“Scott and I bonded quickly over our shared love for motorsports and boats, and as you’ve probably already seen on TV, our hair,” Chapman laughs to HollywoodLife.com.
Why Kourtney And Scott Won’t Get Married Anytime Soon
“Getting married is a personal decision, and timing is very important,” Chapman admits. “It took me a long time to get down the aisle, and I’m glad I took my time because I was 100% sure of my decision to tie the knot. In my opinion, Kourtney and Scott are happy and committed, which unfortunately is more than many married couples can say.”
Like any typical bromance, Chapman admits they prefer to ”talk about things with motors, and other guy stuff” over marriage!
Kourtney Was Nervous About Scott Racing Cars
Kourtney was very concerned when Scott wanted to indulge in his lifelong dream of race car driver, supervised by Chapman, the professional. But Chapman tells us Kourtney need not worry, because Scott is actually really talented!
“I was completely shocked, but to be honest, Scott has real, raw talent behind the wheel. I believe he could develop into a real racecar driver, if he focuses on it. My wife has been training with me at the race track for a few years, and Scott on his first time in the racing karts, was able to keep pace with her, unlike any of my other friends. Impressive!” Chapman says.
Chapman says he’s a big fan of the entire family and that he’d definitely be interested in appearing on Kris Jenner‘s newly announced talk show!
“I had the opportunity to meet both Kris and Bruce during filming. And, I would happily go on Kris’s show. I like Kris a lot, and I respect her work ethic and business acumen.”
And as far as Kim’s baby shower gift? “You’d have to ask [my wife] M.K. That’s her department!”
