Taylor Swift was already feeling down on herself after her breakup with One Direction singer Harry Styles and according to a new report in Star magazine, she is now worried that her Hollywood haters are hurting her career.
“She can’t snap out of it. Taylor is putting on a brave face to the public, but she is a complete mess,” a source tells Star magazine.
A source tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively that “this could not be further from the truth.”
In fact, Taylor was in Cannes, France on Jan. 26 for the NRJ music awards and it looked like Harry was the last thing on her mind as she was strutting on stage in a sexy outfit!
The Original Diss
At the Golden Globes on Jan. 13, all eyes were on Taylor when co-host Tina Fey dissed her by saying she should stay away from Michael J. Fox’s son, Sam, 23!
“Taylor thought Tina’s taunt was a low blow, and she bawled herself to sleep that night,” the Star source adds.
Michael said in an interview that Taylor was making a career by talking bad about her ex-boyfriends. Fans did not receive that well and Taylor had to tweet on Jan. 18, “Hey everybody, Michael J. Fox got in touch with me today and we are good. Thank you for having my back.”
On the outside, Taylor is staying strong, but the Star source says, “Taylor has been crying nonstop.”
Her Personal Life Is Affecting Her Career
“That’s when it hit her that she has such a horrible reputation, it could affect her professionally,” the insider tells Star.
“It breaks her heart to be made fun of so publicly, especially because her fans are starting to join in on the backlash. But she’s putting herself in this position by dating so many high-profile guys and writing about them afterward.”
