Robert Pattinson has been shooting his new film The Rover in Australia, but he ran into legal trouble during his trip down under!

Robert Pattinson: Why He Was Targeted By Police

Rob, 26, was spotted biking without a helmet, local radio station SAFM Adelaide revealed on their Twitter account.

“Twilight’s Robert Pattinson has been cautioned by SA Police for not wearing a helmet while riding a bike in #Adelaide #Newsfeed,” the tweet read.

We wonder if Rob is acting a bit recklessly without his girlfriend Kristen Stewart around to keep him in line — we’re sure she would have wanted him to use protection!

The Police Strike Back At Robert Pattinson

Even though Rob was warned, he won’t be too bothered by officers for his error in judgement.

“Yes that it the case [that he was cautioned],” a representative with the SA Police tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “He will not be fined, it is just a simple caution. We had a chat with him and told him that it is a requirement to wear a helmet while cycling a pushbike. It’s no biggie.”

How was Rob caught?

“Someone took a picture of him when he was out cycling so that is how we knew,” the officer says. “If he does it again, he will be fined.”

When he’s not breaking the law, Rob has been having a ball shooting The Rover, a project he is very passionate about.

“It’s a really tough script,” he says. “I don’t really know, I don’t even know how to talk about it yet. It’s one of the best I’ve read. It’s one of my top five favorite scripts I’ve read since I started doing this. It’s really nerve-racking.”

I see what you mean… Arthur`s report is amazing… last wednesday I bought a gorgeous Honda NSX from having made $5251 this last 4 weeks and over ten thousand last month. it’s definitly the best-work I’ve had. This is what you call a run in with the police? wearing a helmet varies frm state to state and country to country, so now he knows!! As to Cloe;s advice to Kristen are you 13 years old?? You don’t go some place unless you are invited. Pushing yourself on someone who has asked for space is so immature and pathetic. You sound so entitled and using words like “let him”" what is wrong with you?? What is your relationship history??

In some countries and states in the US, you don’t have to wear a helmet while riding a bike. He probably didn’t even think about it and probably doesn’t even have a helmet. Rebellious had NOTHING TO DO WITH IT. STOP MAKING A BIG DEAL OUT OF NOTHING. And Kristen can’t make him do jack crap if he doesn’t want to. Wasn’t this picture taken in England a while back?

This picture is really old just so you all know. Look at how long his hair is and in the pictures of him at the airport show him with short hair (and just so we are all clear he has short hair at the moment). This is just a silly story to go with all the bloody other ones out there.

Nobody thinks that they will take a spill and crack their head open either @Robsession. S### like that happens when you least expect it. They don’t want him to mess up that pretty face of his. He should worry about that, his face is his money maker. I’m sure from now on he will be wearing a helmet. You never know when some a-hole is texting and not paying attention. People get killed like that everyday, I hate that.

Does the staff at Hollywood Life share one brain? Because there is no excuse for this level of stupidity that happens with these stories. Rob has spent a majority of his time biking in California, where you are not required to wear a helmet. He most likely did not know that it was against Australia law. It has nothing to do with being reckless or Kristen. Look at the pics, he was just spending time doing a hobby he enjoys..there was absolutely nothing reckless about the pics of rob biking!

Por favor ¿no saben que mas inventar Hollywood Life? Oigan simplemente le advirtieron por su seguridad que llevase el casco, es decir, ¿quien no ha ido alguna vez en bicicleta sin casco? el es humano, punto. Kristen no tiene porque ser la culpable de todo y bueno si la extraña o no, NO tiene nada que ver con todo eso.
