Taylor rocked the stage at the NRJ Awards in Cannes when she gave an epic revenge performance which was aimed at Harry Styles. It just like when Katy dissed Russell Brand on stage!
Taylor Swift sent a clear message to Harry Styles when she performed her hit “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” at the NRJ Music Awards in Cannes on Jan. 26. Taylor looked HOT in a black lace dress, and she had all the power as she dominated the stage while Harry probably squirmed in his seat! It was so reminiscent of when Katy Perry dissed her ex husband Russell Brand when she performed her song “Part Of Me” at the Kids Choice Awards on March 31, 2012. Taylor Swift Versus Katy Perry
Katy, 28 and Taylor, 23, have a lot in common: they are both chart topping singers, they both tour the world, they both sing break up songs, and they both dated John Mayer! (Well, Katy is currently dating him.) But most importantly, they both dated British celebrities and neither romance ended well. Katy’s marriage to Russell ended around Christmas of 2011, while Taylor and Harry broke up at New Years of 2013.
And both ladies can deliver an epic revenge performance!
Katy rocked the KCA stage last year with the performance of her hit single — and she was sending a message to Russell! Katy wore a costume that looked like a suit of armor, complete with a sword and a glam diamond-shaped shield. She was totally telling her ex she has her guard up after he broke her heart!
Katy’s shield had a broken heart on it, and the theme of the performance was a British feast. She ended the show by throwing a pie in the face of one of her dancers who looked just like Russell. If that is not a dig, I don’t know what is!
Meanwhile Taylor took to the stage to tell Harry that they were never ever getting back together. Like, ever. Taylor was so passionate when she sang the lyrics, “We are never getting back together” — harder than usual.

I think Katy Perry’s song “Part of Me” is a lot better than Taylor’s song “Never Getting Back Together”. I hope Katy wins a Grammy for her song “Wide Awake” tomorrow.
