Miley Cyrus got a little ahead of herself! In an interview with Cosmopolitan magazine for their March 2013 issue, she refers to fiancé Liam Hemsworth as her “hubby” and says, “I’m so happy I’m married,” but the actress wasn’t speaking matter-of-factly, HollywoodLife.com has exclusively learned.
“Miley isn’t [legally] married. She’s speaking metaphorically,” a source close to the 20-year-old Disney star tells HollywoodLife.com. “In her mind, she’s married to Liam and there’s no other man for her.”
What Made Miley Cyrus Say She’s Married?
As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, Miley’s Cosmo cover is filled with sex appeal, but the interview inside the pages is what got the internet buzzing when the fashion magazine asked Miley about previous men she’d been with, including guys such as Nick Jonas and Justin Gaston. Her answer shocked us, literally, because that’s when she drops a bombshell, saying she’s married!
Miley Drops A Bomb, Says She’s Married
“I know, right? I’m happy I don’t have to date anymore though. All my friends are guys, so I hear the sh*t guys say about dating. One guy called me and said, ‘Miley, I don’t know what to do — this girl won’t leave my house. It’s 6:00 and I have a blind date at 6:30.’ And I was like, ‘I’m so happy I’m married, because you guys are cruel!’ It’s hard to find a good guy, and all girl know that guys don’t think with their brains.”
She adds, “I can’t even get coffee without a million paparazzi following me, so I don’t know why anyone think I’m going to have this huge, extravagant wedding. That is so not who I am.”
Well, it’s clear now that Miley and Liam, 23, haven’t legally tied the knot yet but, hey, at least in Miley’s minds they’ve already done so!
