Rick’s Rolls-Royce crashed into a building in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida on Jan. 28, when the 37-year-old rapper was escaping a gunman. How scary.
Rick Ross had a rough morning on Jan. 28, when he got into a car accident. It wasn’t, however, bad driving that landed him sandwiched against the side of a building in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Rick was reportedly escaping a gunman, who opened fire on the rapper and his female passenger.
Dozens of shots were fired at Rick’s vehicle at around 5 AM, according to TMZ. None of the bullets hit the vehicle, but they did hit multiple buildings.
Rick reportedly crashed when he tried escaping the gunfire.
Police have made no arrests and no suspects have been identified.
Detective DeAnna Garcia, of the Fort Lauderdale Police Department, exclusively tells HollywoodLife.com, ”We are currently looking for members of the public to come forward with information. No one was arrested and we have no suspects. The victim (Rick Ross) co – operated with the with police on scene and was released. No one was injured or taken to hospital.”
Rick was at LIV nightclub in Miami earlier in the night, Jan. 27, celebrating his birthday. Today, Jan. 28, is his actual birthday. Um, happy birthday?
Local10.com obtained a photo from the crash scene, showing Rick’s Rolls-Royce being towed away. You can see that the front of the vehicle is smashed in from the collision.
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Do you think the suspects will get caught? What are your feelings on gun laws — should they be changed?

That’s horrible, he should have called the 911 to report the incident of gunfire earlier before crashing. Well, anyways, I’m glad he’s safe.
