Justin Bieber Defends Chris Brown’s Assault On Rihanna

Justin says Chris Brown is a big influence for him and that people should focus on his music instead of his personal life in a new interview. Is JB defending his violent actions?

Chris Brown is once again in hot water after he allegedly punched Frank Ocean on Jan. 27 but Justin Bieber will always be a fan. In a new interview with Billboard magazine, Justin defends Breezy, and hints at his assault against Rihanna in 2009. Do you think he should be looking up to Chris?

Regarding the Grammys and who he wants to take home an award, Justin, 18, responded, “Chris Brown. I’m a fan. His music is really good. That’s what they should focus on: his music.”

Justina and Chris, 23, have been friends for a long time. In fact, they even recorded a song together in March 2011 called “Next 2 You” that was a track on Chris’ F.A.M.E. album.

Justin also said he will not be attending the Grammys this year.

Chris and Rihanna will both reportedly be at the show — Rihanna and Chris have even been talking about performing together! The Grammys bring back strong memories for the couple, since Chris assaulted Rihanna after a pre-Grammy party in 2009.

A source previously told HollywoodLife.com, “[Rihanna] wants her man on her arms with her at the Grammys. They both aren’t worried about being out in public together. That’s obvious. She already talked to him about going to the Grammys together and that’s the plan right now.”

If they attend the show together, it would definitely send a message to fans across the world.

CB is the kinda guy that trouble follows. We all know dudes like that, but they aren’t under the microscope like Chris is. So glad that Justin Bieber is finally making his friendship and influence by Chris public. He and Chris seem to be close friends and it is obvious that Chris is an influence for Justin. Just a matter of Justin growing up and taking control of his own life and not having his ‘people’ tell him what to say or do. Just listen to some of Justin’s music and you can hear the Chris Brown influence. As a matter of fact Justin became known for doing a version of Chris Brown’s ‘With you’ song on utube. Also, nobody can tell me that Chris hasn’t helped Justin and Rihanna on their dance moves. I say the people that are true CB fans have long moved on and forgiven CB for the 2009 incident. Most important Rihanna has forgiven him and that is really all that matters. Any lingering hate is just that–HATE—which to me says more about the person hating then it does about Chris Brown.

If you read the tweet, he says to MAKE IT ABOUT THE MUSIC….whether or not he likes him is irrelevant. JB is young and knows what it’s liked to be dissed, he has been alot lately.
