Chris Brown was the instigator of a fight between Frank Ocean on Jan. 27, according to a new statement released by the police. Keep reading for the latest details.

Chris Brown is in some hot water. HollywoodLife.com spoke with the Los Angeles Country Sherrif’s Department and has learned that Chris punched Frank Ocean on Jan. 27 at Westlake Studios.

Police Statement On Chris Brown’s Fight With Frank Ocean

The LASD statement to HollywoodLife.com reads: “West Hollywood Station deputies are investigating allegations that Chris Brown assaulted an unnamed victim. Deputies responded to a call of six males fighting at the 7200 block of Santa Monica Boulevard, West Hollywood. Upon their arrival, deputies talked to witnesses who stated that Chris Brown and the victim were involved in an altercation over a parking space. The altercation allegedly led to Chris Brown punching the victim. After a brief fight, the parties were separated. Chris Brown and his entourage left the location prior to the arrival of deputies. The investigation is on-going and investigators will contact Chris Brown at a later time.”

An Insider Says Breezy Started The Fight

We told you that TMZ reports that the fight started over a parking spot. A source tells HollywoodLife.com that Chris was saying: “F*ck y’all gay a** n*ggas.” Frank, 25, is openly gay.

The insider went on to say: “Yeah, Chris’ car or whatever car he was rolling in was in a reserved spot,” the source says. “But no one was blocking him and security told him he couldn’t park there and that’s when some fool from his crew got wild and started acting crazy and tripping out on everybody. It was just crazy because they know better but they are so hood and it makes no sense. It’s sad.”

Chris is on probation stemming from his 2009 assault on Rihanna. He has one year left of his five-year probation. We are waiting to hear back from his rep and attorney to learn if this fight will affect his probation.
