A new batch of spoilers reveal that Elena’s ex could actually be working against her!
Claire Holt recently told HollywoodLife.com that many of the vampires will consider stealing the cure for themselves — and it looks like that includes Stefan (Paul Wesley)! On the Feb. 14 episode of The Vampire Diaries, “Stefan confesses his true feelings about the possibility of becoming human again” to Elena (Nina Dobrev), according to The CW. Of course, that’s not the only cure-related twist we can expect.
Apparently, “when a stunning new piece of information about the cure is suddenly revealed, it raises the stakes for everyone!”
And no, that’s not a vampire/stake pun. It sounds like the gang is legitimately screwed.
Five More Spoilers From Season 4, Episode 14
1. Damon (Ian Somerhalder) has an “ugly run-in” with one of the five hunters, Vaughn (Twilight‘s Charlie Bewley).
2. Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) helps Bonnie (Kat Graham) “recognize what is real and what is an illusion.” (It sounds like everybody’s struggling with that on this show!)
3. Shane’s (Dave Alpay) past comes back to haunt him, when he comes face to face with a woman named Caitlin.
4. Caroline (Candice Accola) and Tyler (Michael Trevino) realize they need help from Klaus (Joseph Morgan) in order to solve the code on the Hunter’s Sword.
5. But wait… it turns out Klaus “has his own reasons for solving the puzzle.” Dun, dun, dun!

They have acted as if the cure is in a jug and all can have a sip. The cure doesn’t even have to be a liquid but could be a sacrifice spell. Even if it is liquid.. it is probably one small vial..one serving. Meaning now they all want it except Damon and will have to fight one another for it. Which makes me think with all the heavy handed hints they have been throwing around that Damon will get it by accident and become human.
