Nicole Richie’s Style & Beauty Must Haves

As  Polyvore’s first guest editor Nicole shared her favorite beauty products including, Bobby Brown concealer and eyeliner, MAC mascara and NARS bold red lip color. Nicole shares some of her style icons as well. Her mother Brenda has had the most influence on her style as well as 60s and 70s bohemian legends Marianne Faithfull and Anita Pallenberg and the rock-and-roll style of Keith Richards.

Nicole shared some inspirations behind her debut fragrance, Nicole, in a special guest Pinterest board for InStyle Magazine. Included in the board are photos of notes included in the scent as well as inspiration from her family and style. “I grew up with a mom who loved beauty. I have many memories of watching her get ready as she layered her oils and lotions, and this fragrance is a scent that I associate with her,” says Nicole.

Nicole’s go to hairstyle for day or night: a braided updo–whether sleek, shiny and polished or loose and messy. One of Nicole’s other faves: a bohemian headpiece. Nicole’s worn many styles with loose waves, updos and sleek strands.
