Kendall & Kylie Jenner Adorable In Retro Makeup For 'Girlfriend' Cover

Kendall Jenner, 17, and her sis Kylie, 15, sported matte red lips and old-school hairstyles for the Australian teen magazine’s latest issue. The two looked so glam and could transcend any era. On her Twitter, Kylie wrote: “Hey guys! Kendall and I are so excited about our cover for the February issue of Girlfriend! We hope those of you in Australia can pick up a copy! xoxo.”

For their cover shoot, Kendall and Kylie are photographed in retro bathing suits sitting by a pool. Kylie completes her look with a red scarf and mirrored necklace, while Kendall wore gold hoops. Both girls have their brunette tresses tied up in a Fifties-style updo. The beauty look definitely has a point of view and isn’t for every one. Fifties era beauty can instantly make you look more mature, which is great if you are going for an older look but can age you if you’re trying to look younger.

Modeling is nothing new for the super-star sisters. Five-foot-ten-inch Kendall has modeled for the Sherri Hill dress line, and she’s been featured in People and Paper magazines Beautiful People issues. Meanwhile, Kylie has modeled for the Sears line Crush Your Style, the Avril Lavigne collection Abbey Dawn Runway, and the official Hello Kitty Launch for Forever 21.

And in other project news, the teens are coming out with their first novel with the help of co-writer Maya Sloane for publisher Karen Hunter at Simon & Schuster. The science-fiction story, geared towards the young-adult audience, will be ‘set 200 years in the future’ and they hope to release it next summer.
