Ryan spilled his plans on marriage and babies with girlfriend Julianne to Chelsea Handler on her talk show on Jan. 22.
Successful DJ and American Idol host Ryan Seacrest, 38, was a guest on Chelsea Handler‘s talk show Chelsea Lately on Jan. 22 and gushed about his “beautiful, stunning,” girlfriend Julianne Hough, 24. The two have been dating since April 2010 and live together in California mansion previously owned by Ellen. So is she walking down the aisle any time soon?
Chelsea did not take it easy on Ryan! First she grilled him on if Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey will ever be friends!
“I think that there’s hope. Those two worked together. That’s how they first met, they did a song together before American Idol. [They] come to work and disagreed about a thing or two, here or there, but now, today, they’re fine.”
“I feel worse for Keith Urban! He’s literally in the center!”
Then Chelsea moved on to more personal questions about Julianne.
“She’s so beautiful…stunning. She is phenomenal. She’s the best part of every day,” he said to a collective “awww!” from the audience.
About if they want to get married and start a family, Ryan said, “We both do [want that].”
Chelsea continued to probe about his marriage plans.
“She’ll be the first one to know,” Ryan said, then he asked back, “Well, when are you getting married?”
Chelsea joked, ”I’m not going to get married, Ryan. I’m not interested in that. I don’t have to prove to people that I’m straight.”
TMZ reported in 2010 that Julianne allegedly told a pal, “He totally wasn’t my type [in the beginning]. I thought he was gay. After a few years, he was persistent so I went out with him on a date and I realized how much I liked him.”
