Just weeks after her very public breakup with One Direction singer Harry Styles, Taylor Swift is suffering major public jabs. The singer, who is known for her very honest songs about her past relationships, is not only being forced to go into 2013 alone, but she is facing tons of public humiliation as well.
Taylor Faces The Public Alone
After her breakup with Harry, Taylor attended both the People’s Choice Awards and the Golden Globes — alone. Taylor attended the Globes as a nominee for Best Original Song for “Safe and Sound,” which she wrote for The Hunger Games. But the night didn’t quite go as Taylor had hoped. Poor Taylor suffered a loss to Adele AND became the butt of a joke by co-host Tina Fey, who joked that Michael J. Fox should keep his son, Sam, 23, away from the 23-year-old Swift.
Although the joke was all in good fun, a source told Us Weekly: “It wasn’t the week she could take a joke.”
Michael responded by criticizing Taylor for using her relationships as inspiration for her songs and by saying that she should back off from his son. Even though Michael later apologized for what he said, a source told Us that her breakup with Harry “killed” Taylor. “She feels like a loser in love and doesn’t have many friends anymore,” the source says.
A close friend of Taylor’s, Selena Gomez, has reportedly been helping Taylor cope with her relationship, however, the source claims that Taylor and Selena are now growing apart.
How Taylor Is Dealing With The Pain
So how is Taylor dealing with the loss of her boyfriend AND the humiliation of being made fun of by Tina Fey on national television? She’s improving herself.
A source said Taylor is working to monitor what she is eating to help improve her looks. However, the source also claims she is drinking more than usual!
