The singer opted for stunning tight curls for her much-anticipated performance of The National Anthem at the 57th Presidential Inauguration Ceremony. Here’s how you can copy her sassy, voluminous hairstyle and bright nail polish!

Beyoncé, 31, has made her support of President Obama a total fashion statement, so it’s no wonder she took the opportunity to perform at his Inauguration as a chance to truly shine! Her gorgeous curls and bright orange mani make for a show-stopping look. Here’s how you can style your own version of this glamorous style!

Beyoncé’s 2013 inauguration hair & makeup

Beyoncé can pull off absolutely any hairstyle: from long, sleek strands, to tight, springy ringlets, this diva’s hair is always on point! Her voluminous curls for her Presidential Inauguration performance are particularly lush and gorgeous.

To style your own locks in Beyoncé’s spiral curls, use a curling iron with an ultra thin barrel (1/4″ or 1/2″ inch, depending on the length of your hair.) Start the waves at your bangs for your most voluminous style! Curl down the length of your strands for a glam diva look. To keep your curls in place, set your style with a curl reviving mousse like L’Oreal Studio Line Springing Curls Mousse . Scrunch the mousse through your ends to add soft body and major volume without stickiness or crunchiness.

Beyoncé’s bright orange mani polishes off her look with a fun, modern twist. Her stunning look was created by Celebrity Manicurist Lisa Logan. “When Beyoncé walked in, she just plainly said, ‘I want orange.’ So orange it was!” says, Lisa, of Beyoncé’s decision to go bold! To get the look yourself, Lisa Logan recommends Red Carpet Manicure’s Tangerine On The Rocks. This pop of color looks vibrant and unexpected against an all-black ensemble, and plays off her shimmering green earrings well. We love that B kept a little of her colorful style intact, while toning down her look to fit the sophisticated occasion.

HollywoodLifers, do YOU love Beyoncé’s springy curls and bright nails?
