Chris and Rihanna had been planning to collaborate for a while, but were held up because of fighting. But on Jan. 17, they decided to get down to business at a West Hollywood studio!
Chris Brown, 23, and Rihanna, 24, recently recorded “Nobodies Business” for Rihanna’s album Unapologetic, and now the dramatic couple are back in the studio together. A blow-up fight couldn’t curb their business!
This is not their first collaboration — they have worked together on “Nobodies Business,” and the remixes of her song “Birthday Cake” and his song “Turn Up The Music.”
A source close to Chris tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY, “They’re collaborating on a song right now. They’ve got something in the works.”
They had plans to record a long time ago but a giant fight put their plans on hold.
Why The Collaboration Didn’t Happen Sooner
“They’ve been talking about the song so that isn’t new — they were suppose to be doing it months ago but sh*t got out of hand between them and they shut it down but now they’re back on it.”
Although they were spotted together, that doesn’t mean Rihanna is ready to completely forgive Chris for hanging out with his ex Karrueche Tran on Jan. 6.
“Rihanna, you know, she goes hard on him and that session last night was all business. Trust me, it was straight business and work. Her people were there, Chris had some boys there too, but it wasn’t anything other than work.”
“They’re both serious when it comes to making music so whatever they were fighting over, they put that sh*t aside to collab together. I’m not saying they’re not in love or together or anything like that, but it was just strictly 100-percent business the other night. And that’s cool, too. No love lost.”
Chris Can’t Choose Between His Ladies
Unfortunately for Rihanna, Karrueche is still involved with Chris, both personally and professionally.
“She’s still in the mix….she ain’t going nowhere. To tell you the truth, she will always be in his life in some way. It’s just the way it is and nobody can do anything about that.”

How can this man be winning ? Someone somewhere is filling his head its sad. It’s difficult living in the public eye but having a woman like Rihanna not claiming him and saying she is taking a break to go out solo is like one step away from her saying she is rejecting him. His one and only alibi of “Ask Rihanna is she mad ?” Will dissapear the minute she walks out and that opens the door for people and media to keep talking of how unsavoury he is. If I was him I would have pursued the sh*t out of Rihana and convinced her to marry me. That would once and for all shut the hell out of all the haters and would put myself into a much better position. What happens behind closed doors with any other women would not matter then. Chris trying a Diddy won’t work because Diddy did not have such a major issue with women publicly with the domestic violence case as Chris. Moreover Rihanna is the key for Chris in his redemption of his status in society like her or not but that’s the truth. I hope he finds the sense to see that.

I don’t believe Rihanna is that stupid and Chris is worth all this drama, and the only person I believe has any reason to deal with all this drama is Karrueche because she just doesn’t have any other options. Following this drama (it interests me – whatevs), I’m starting to gain some respect for Rihanna and how she’s handling her BUSINESS, and I think that’s all this is to her. I read between the lines of her Complex magazine interview, especially that line that said “what happens in the studio is all that matters.”
I am really starting to get on board with the people who believe this Chris/Rihanna mess is a publicity stunt. It catapulted her to her first number 1 debuting CD (her best in my opinion) in the U.S., and I bet Chris will bet one as well when he releases his album in 2013.
What she has done through all of this is taken back her image from who the public thinks she ought to be, and via her “selfie” obsession on Instagram given the public the image she wants them to see. And now she’s free – is there anything she’d do that would surprise anybody now?? Is there any picture the paparazzi can take and sell that would be more interesting than the pictures she posts on Instagram for free???
The only newsworthy info about Rihanna these days is the information she posts on Twitter and Instagram herself. Ain’t nobody listening to anything else. And Chris has been totally silenced lately. And now Beyonce is trying to follow her lead. That was a smart move. Very Smart.
