In a new interview, Selena opens up on her break up with Justin, and how she is so ‘lucky’ to have her BFF Taylor to help her through all the drama.
Selena Gomez gets by with a little help from her friends, as she reveals in a new interview with NYLON magazine. Selena says that Taylor Swift was her rock during her turbulent romance and break up with Justin Bieber. Selena says that the reason she and Taylor are such good friends is because they “experienced the same things at the same time.” Considering how unlucky in love Taylor is, we would definitely agree with that statement!
Selena Opens Up About Her Friendship With Taylor
Selena, 20, and Taylor, 23, have been friends for years, and they became close during their break ups with the Jonas Brothers – Selena dated Nick Jonas, while Taylor had a brief romance with Joe Jonas. When Selena and Justin’s romance started to go south in November, Taylor was there for Selena.
“We both experienced the same things at the same time,” Selena says of their friendship. “But we’ve never once talked about our industry. She just became the person I’d go to for an issue with my family or boyfriend. It’s so hard to trust girls, so I’m lucky to have her.”
So sweet! Since both the Jelena split and Taylor’s break up from Harry Styles, HollywoodLife.com exclusively reported that Taylor and Selena have been planning lots of fun girly things to do together.
“Taylor and Selena are definitely planning some girl nights. Selena told [Taylor] that they were better than those losers, so they can’t wait to have a bunch of girls over and dance it out!” our insider said.
Well, we know Selena loves dancing to Taylor’s music!
Selena Relies On Her Girlfriends
Taylor is not the only girlfriend that is helping Selena through her break up, as she was seen going for dinner with Julianne Hough on Jan. 9 in LA, and on Jan. 13, she partied at the Golden Globes Weinstein after party with her Spring Breakers co-star Vanessa Hudgens, along with good friends Ashley Tisdale and Sarah Hyland from Modern Family.
Hunger Games hottie Josh Hutcherson was also there, and he and Selena hooked up that night! She is wasting no time moving on from Justin!

im really glad selena and justin are no longer together and next its good taylor help selena out. selena can do alot better with a nother guy then a stuiped gay boy justin.
