Hooray! Things may be rocky between Rachel and Finn, but Lea and Cory’s relationship couldn’t be stronger! After a long separation, Lea tweeted her excitement at being reunited with Cory. So sweet!
When Lea Michele attended the 70th annual Golden Globes on Jan. 13 solo, rumors began that her relationship with her co-star boyfriend Cory Monteith may in trouble. Lea had previously attended the People’s Choice Awards alone on Jan. 9, while on Jan. 10, Cory went to the Critic’s Choice Awards dateless. Fans were worried that TV’s favorite couple were on the road to splitsville, but thank the dear lord they are reunited! On Jan. 15, Lea tweeted her excitement at getting to work with Cory on the set of Glee. Phew!
Lea Michele Tweets About Working With Cory Monteith
Lea, who been dating Cory for over a year, teased fans when she tweeted “Shooting now with @CoryMonteith and@itsmmbenoist and @jacobartist.. What are we up to now!!??” Who knows! Lea, Cory, Melissa Benoist (Marley) and Jacob Artist (Jake) were all filming together — so it looks like Rachel must make another return to Lima High when the show returns on Jan. 24. Later that day, the show’s producer Brad Falchuk tweeted “@msleamichele @corymonteith second to last scene today. Episode 14.” So does this mean we will see less of Finchel? No!
Rachel and Finn’s relationship may be in the dumpster, but Lea and Cory seem happier than ever. While they did not see much of each other in recent weeks, they rang in the New Year during a romantic vacation in Hawaii. Lea and Cory are not shy about showing PDA either, as they looked super loved up in Hawaii, and they have also been seen snuggling on the Glee set in the past.
Lea’s Feelings For Cory
Lea was Marie Claire‘s December cover star, and she opened up to the magazine about her relationship with her co-star.
“I don’t even remember a time when he wasn’t my boyfriend,” said Lea. “No one knows me better than Cory. No one knows what it’s been like to go through this more than he does. Feeling like you have that net underneath you allows you to jump higher and go farther,” she said. “He makes me feel like I can do anything. For the first time in my life, I feel really, really settled and happy. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world.”
So sweet! Finchel may have called off their wedding, but maybe Cory and Lea will tie the knot!
