As Khloe Kardashian watches on while her sisters Kim Karashian and Kourtney Kardashian experience baby joy, the wife to NBA star Lamar Odom is growing more and more impatientwith her fertility struggles .
Khloe and Lamar tied the knot in September 2009, and wanted to have kids right away. But in the more than three years that the couple has been married, they haven’t been able to conceive – and Khloe has watched as her older sisters experienced their own baby joy.
Khloe’s Sisters Kim & Kourtney Having Babies Before Her
Kourtney welcomed two kids — Mason, 3, and Peneleope, 6 months — and Kim got pregnant with boyfriend Kanye West‘s baby after dating for just nine months. A friend close to Khloe revealed to Star magazine that it was Kim’s pregnancy that threw her over the edge.
“Of course Khloe wants to be happy for Kim, but she really doesn’t understand Kim’s motivation or reasoning for getting pregnant, other than to gain attention and throw it in her face,” the friend revealed.
Kim Stealing Khloe’s Fertility Thunder
Kim even went to a fertility treatment with Khloe, and saw how heart-breaking the experience has been for her, the friend said. “Khloe took the pregnancy as a slap in the face,” the insider said.
On Jan. 15, Kim appeared on the Today show and opened up about her fertility struggles, which she compared to Khloe’s.
“MAYBE one day I’ll tell you the REAL story. Until then be careful with what you choose to believe,” Khloe tweeted on Jan. 15, shortly after her sister’s appearance. Could Khloe be talking about Kim’s confession?
Khloe Looking For A Surrogate To Carry Her Baby
The insider revealed that Khloe and Lamar are going the surrogacy route, and looking for a gestational surrogate — a woman who would carry a baby made from Lamar’s sperm and Khloe’s egg. And money is no object.
“She is being extremely thorough about the woman she will choose to carry her baby,” another source tells Star. “She even says she would pay half a million dollars for the right woman!”
