Jenelle — this is your big chance to be a mommy, the right way. You lost custody of little Jace, but now you can do everything right with baby #2.

Jenelle Evans — your Teen Mom fans are rooting for you to use your just announced 2nd pregnancy with new husband, Courtland Rogers — to turn your life around.

You’ve been blessed with a second chance at motherhood, and you now have the opportunity to do everything right for the baby you’re expecting on Sept. 4.

The announcement of your early pregnancy — you’re just six weeks along — came out this morning, Jan. 16, in Star magazine.

You have infamously lost custody of your adorable son, Jace, now three, to your mother Barbara. And it’s not hard to see on Teen Mom why your mom was able to wrestle custody away.

You were arrested for assault, cyber stalking, breaking and entering and drug possession. You also were in rehab at least once.

But that was then and this is now.

Jenelle Can Show Her Mom She’s Changed

You CAN put your past behind you and make a fresh start with this baby. You’re a little older now at 21, and I’m sure much wiser. You also have your husband Courtland Rogers at your side, and he’s also older at 27 and a dad.

Although he’s struggled with addictions to Xanax and other painkillers in the past, you two can be each other’s pillars of support.

You’re not alone now Jenelle — and between the new baby and Courtland — as well as Jace — you have every reason to stay on the right path and prove you can be the mom you always wanted to have and now want to be.

Jenelle “thinks if she can prove that she’s a good mother, she can get Jace back,” Courtland told Star magazine in an interview.

He also insists that you, Jenelle, aren’t engaging in any behavior that could be harmful to your baby. “Jenelle hasn’t done any drugs since she got pregnant,” he says, and insists that she’s even gone off her bipolar medication.

Of course, Jenelle, that’s something that you should talk to your doctor about because there probably is a bipolar medication os dosage you can take that won’t harm your baby. It’s great that you want to be careful — we applaud you for that — but you also have to think of your own mental health.

Jenelle — if you can stay perfectly clean, can stay out of all the trouble, spend as much time as possible with Jace, work hard at your job, eat well, take your vitamins and have a healthy pregnancy, then you are well on  your way to proving to your fans, your mom, the courts and yourself, that you will be a terrific mom.

And you can do this! You are a loving person. You can be a wonderful mom. And if you do get a new MTV spinoff show- you can show the world, how you’ve had a positive mommy makeover.

And you certainly don’t want the alternative — giving your mom any excuse to try and swoop into court after baby #2 once it’s born and trying to take custody of that baby too. No, you don’t want that.
