Oooh, does Emily regret picking Jef Holm? It looks like the ‘Bachelorette’ has been texting former love interest Sean. Is she jealous that he is the ‘Bachelor’?
After competing with 25 other guys for Emily Maynard‘s heart, Sean Lowe now knows what it is like to be the one calling the shots — or handing out the roses, to be more precise. As he begins his journey on The Bachelor, Emily has been texting him — could she regret picking Jef over him?
Emily Maynard Texts To Sean Lowe
As the most recent Bachelorette, Emily, 26, knows all too well what it’s like to put your love life on television, and to have to choose between 25 suitors. As previously reported by HollywoodLife.com, Emily, Jef Holm, Arie Luyendyk Jr. and other Bachelor alumni tweeted Sean their well wishes before his series premiered on Jan. 7.
But now, Emily has taken things a step further by texting Sean, 29. “She texted me and said ‘I’m in your corner,’” Sean told Us Weekly. “She wished me the best. And vice versa!” And Sean even offered up some dating advice for Emily! He said she should date “a normal guy. She should not date a celebrity!”
Emily already tweeted Sean good luck — was texting him necessary? Is it possible that she wants a rose from him?
The Former ‘Bachelorette’ Star’s Current Relationship Status
Emily is currently single, after her Christmas reunion with Jef took a nasty turn. And it seems like she is ready to meet someone.
“Dating, or lack thereof, there’s not much of it going on these days, unfortunately,” Emily said to Wetpaint. “Maybe fortunately for everyone else but unfortunately for me. But I’m really happy being single, to be honest, and that’s one thing that I’ve taken away from all this is that, I’m pretty good on my own. It’s really cool.”
It’s good that Emily is happy being single, but if she was to meet someone, she would want it to be “Someone to make me laugh.” ”I want a man that can take charge,” she says.
You never know, we might see Emily on The Bachelorette again!

Sean’s advice to Emily was something she needs to take very seriously, he could not have given her better advice. It seems just as she began to have issues watching Brad finish filming the show after he broke rules of the show to let her know how much he had fallen in love with her, she couldn’t cope, jealousy took over. Texting well wishes should have been enough. Why keep the contact going? Sean was not who her heart believed was who she felt was right for her and if she had any doubt, she could have done the courageous, although not popular decision Brad made on his first show and choose no one, yet she could have keep in touch with the three men she fell in love with and privately and slowly seen where a relationship in real life would go. Emily needs to be honest with herself and why she continues to leave options open for more reality TV opportunities. How will that help her to find love and the father figure she is looking for for Ricki?
