Chris Brown and Rihanna‘s red-hot relationship has cooled recently — a fact that has Chris totally bummed out. The R&B singer went out for a guys night on Jan. 15, hitting up Hollywood hot spot Supperclub, but we’ve learned that it was an unusually subdued night for Chris, 23! Could the friction with Rihanna, 24, be weighing him down?
An eyewitness at the popular restaurant and nightclub tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively that Chris and a friend had a quiet night while there. “Chris was here with a friend — that red headed guy that he is always with. They sat quietly and had drinks,” our insider says. “He wasn’t dancing or flirting with anyone. They stayed [until] close and then they left. They did not have dinner.”
Whoa! Not the night out we’ve come to expect from Chris!
Chris Brown & Rihanna’s Relationship Troubles
As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, Chris and Rihanna haven’t been speaking much recently, and he’s “sad” about it. Maybe his sadness is to blame for his somber night? “I can’t even tell you what’s going on with them — they ain’t talking right now. I don’t know what the f**k is going on but they ain’t seeing eye to eye on some s**t…So they cool on each other…” our source revealed.
“[He's] sad but, you know, that’s how it is sometimes. I know this back and forth s**t ain’t the business for him…but hey, he’ll figure it out.”
Rihanna’s Withholding Sexy Photos From Chris
Our source tells us that Rihanna, who has never been one to shy away from sending Chris a risque photo or two, even withheld her sexy new Complex cover shoot from him. “…Of course he [saw the photos,] but this time he saw it on Google alerts or whatever. Ri didn’t send it to him personally. He thinks she looks bomb. He always thinks she looks good no matter what. That’s his girl deep down but if you ask me, they be playing games and s**t, going back and forth.”
