On tonight’s episode of ‘Teen Mom 2,’ Kailyn finds out that her mom — whom she hadn’t seen or talked to in a year — tried to visit baby Isaac while Kail was away in Texas! Watch as Kailyn confronts her mom over the phone.

Kailyn Lowry hasn’t spoken to her mother for more than a year — ever since she moved out of her mom’s house and into her own apartment. So when Kailyn comes back from a visit to Texas and finds out her mom tried to see Isaac without her permission, she’s livid.

Kailyn reveals to her friend Mark that her mom dropped by her baby daddy Jo‘s house because she was “in the neighborhood” and tried to see her grandson — whom she hasn’t made an effort to see in a year.

Kail thinks she should call her mom and confront her once and for all, and needs to use Mark’s phone since her mom has her number blocked.

Kailyn’s Explosive Confrontation With Her Mom

When Kailyn gets through to her mom, she asks why she randomly showed up to see Isaac out of the blue.

“I don’t understand what you’re trying to say Kailyn,” her mom responds and then hangs up. When Kailyn calls back and gets her voicemail again, she leaves a message sayng she doesn’t want her mom to be around Isaac

You can’t just be gone for a year and then show up out of nowhere, that’s no example to set for my son,” Kailyn says. Then, her mom calls back to defend herself!

“I don’t have to ask for your permission,” Kail’s mom fires back. “You do need to ask for my permission because he’s my child, you don’t just disappear for a year and then show up when you please,” Kailyn responds.

Yikes! Watch the dramatic clip below, and be sure to tune into Teen Mom 2 tonight at 10/9 Central on MTV.

I think it’s unreal that a person would say its none of the mother’s business to see a toddler!! That lady is not right!! I would have strict guidelines set with Joe & his family to make sure they don’t let her in to see Issac! And I would have a restraining order against that lady! Kailyn… You are doing such a good job and no one deserves that, especially from their own mother. She has no clue & you keep protecting yourself & your child!!!

Kailyn is very mature for her age and has a great future ahead of her. Those of you who speak badly of her are just JEALOUS!!! You know you are! There is nothing bad to say about a young girl raising a baby on her own, with no support system, mother or father to speak of. She ADORES her son and puts him first. Her biological mother can learn from her. Kailyn has a great head on her shoulders and makes smart choices so those of you that speak badly of her are the ACTUAL LOSERS AND TRASH! YOU WISH YOU WERE HER!!!

The only thing kailyn`s mom has proven so far during the show, from out the beginning, is that she is a piece of sh*t . Her mother does not deserve the title of mother let alone as grandmother. She wasen`t concerned if her daughter and grandson lived out on the street or not, she is beyond selfish

Kailyn’s mother has ISSUES! She has no right to just show up like that. She is really immature. Kailyn does not want you to be in and out of her son’s life (protecting him) just like she apparently is to her own daughter! I don’t understand her mom’s anger towards her own daughter. She seems the type that was possibly too selfish to have kids (Kailyn’s mom) and is jealous of her daughter. I say Kailyn HAS THE RIGHT to tell her mom to back OFF! She is nothing but bad news. She couldn’t even help her daughter when she was pregnant with her “grandchild” or afterwards and blocked her number. I don’t know why Jo would see this as ok for his son either – except as a jab towards Kailyn.

Kailyn just sounds whiney and annoying. When her part comes on she just seems awkward and like she’s posing for the camera (posing what she says) and it comes out real awkward. She sounds like she makes a big deal for no reason usually.

Ofcourse she sounds whiney and annoying she has been on her own since her sixteen, without a mother, father or family to support her. You have no idea what your talking about , only support that girl had was from jo`s family
