The actress looked more beautiful than ever in a fresh-faced makeup look for the 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on January 13, 2013 in Beverly Hills, California. We found out how to re-create the look with tips straight from her makeup artist!

ALMAY Global Brand Ambassador, Kate Hudson, 33, was so beautiful in a glowy and gorgeous makeup look that seemed barely there. Makeup artist Leslie Lopez was inspired by Kate’s sleek. She paired the glamour and drama of the dress with a shimmering eye for Hudson and porcelain complexion.

How to recreate Kate Hudson’s Golden Globes Makeup Look

“The inspiration is always the dress,” Leslie says.  “I wanted to create a modern interpretation of Brigitte Bardot for Kate’s makeup. I always think less is more and wanted to give her a strong eye without being overwhelming. I knew I wanted to do something with her eyes – it’s my favorite thing to highlight on Kate. I used shadow to accentuate the crease of her eyelid and liner right above the lash line. It’s very simple, but makes the eyes pop. Her skin looked so good after using the primer, I used very little foundation.”

Lopez used the following products for Kate’s red carpet look:
Face
Almay Smart Shade Perfect & Correct Primer, $13.99
Almay Smart Shade Mousse Makeup in Light/Medium, $13.99
Almay Smart Shade Blush in Coral, $11.49

Eyes
Almay Intense i-Color Liquid Shadow + Color Primer in Nude for Green Eyes, $7.99
Almay Intense i-Color Defining Liner in Charcoal for Blue Eyes, $7.99
Almay Intense i-Color Volumizing Mascara in Midnight for Hazel Eyes, $7.99
Almay Intense i-Color Shimmer-i Trio for Green Eyes, $7.99
