Oh no! Rob showed up at the 70th-annual Golden Globes on Jan. 13 solo, and Kristen was nowhere to be found! But her dad was — and gave Rob a special gesture before the big show! Read on to find out what happened.
Robert Pattinson attended the Golden Globes on Jan. 13 as a presenter, but he arrived to the awards without Kristen Stewart – she didn’t even show up at all!
Rob went to the show as a celebrity presenter – he also presented the award in 2011 for Best Foreign Language Film with Olivia Wilde — but fans were waiting to see if he would bring Kristen along with.
Looks like she stayed away from the awards show entirely! And we may know why — Kristen was spotted at an LA Starbucks with TWO guys on Jan. 13, and neither of them was Rob! Is there trouble in paradise?
But, at least the Twilight hunk received a special good-luck gesture by Kristen’s dad John Stewart. Onlookers spotted John walking up to Robert before the show started just to give him a hug — how sweet!
Trouble In Kristen & Rob’s Relationship?
According to a report by Life & Style magazine, their relationship is on the rocks and they have been arguing a lot!
“Things with them aren’t good,” a friend of Rob’s told Life & Style magazine. “They’ve been fighting a lot.” That can’t be good!
“Rob isn’t happy,” the pal added. “It’s just a matter of time before he ends this.”
As HollywoodLife.com exclusively reported, the couple had a cozy New Years Eve date together and were even spotted holding hands. But maybe there’s trouble in paradise? Or maybe she didn’t want to take away from Rob’s big night as presenter!

Rob and Kristen are two Beautiful people…they belong together.
I think that if they really love each other they should take it slow
and try to better understand each others feelings when times test there love.
Love is unconditional…relationships are made of give and take…and full of regets and mistakes.
I was told a long time ago..that you don’t always have to be right..and even if you know you are right
it’s ok to be wrong….fighting in any relationship is just other way of getting to know each other.
As far as Kristen not being with Rob at the Globes…she just flew in from NYC…she could have just been tired….But that’s ok… papa Stewart was there with a resuring hug for Rob.

Why would a father go up and hug a guy who broke up with his daughter? A father would not do this if there was a problem between the couple. It would be like picking sides and I don’t think John Stewart would do that to his daughter if she was having a problem with Rob. That father and daughter are to close. I don’t know why she was not there maybe she has the flue since she just came back from NYC where they have an epidemic. If she could have been there and let’s just say hypothetically her and Pattison are having problems then I am sure she would have been seated at Jodie Fosters table anyway. If she broke up from Rob what better way to announce it then to attend an award show and not sit with him or acknowledge him. Now that would show me there was a problem and I am sure Jodie Foster would have protected her at the show and after. The trip to Starbucks happened Saturday and she was with her bodyguards and Ruth. The girl’s tweet is dated 1/12 not 1/13. Please stop trying to make something from nothing HWL and I wouldn’t believe anything Life and Style had to publish they have lied so many times about this couple it is pitiful. That trash mag is not worth wrapping fish in.

IF THAT IS THE CASE BETWEEN ROB AND KRISTEN, THEN MAYBE IT IS TIME FOR STEW TO MAKE UP HER MIND AND THINK WHAT IS BEST FOR HER. IF IT NEEDS TO COOL OFF WITH ROB, THEN WHY WONT SHE DO THAT. THERE ARE A LOT OF BACHELORS OUT THERE, FOR A BEAUTIFUL KRISTEN.

I like seeing Kristen & Robert together just as much as anyone else, but come on people, the truth is, we love them as Edward & Bella, & that was only a movie, a very good movie but still only a story. I think if there is trouble in paradise, then maybe they should call it quits & meet new people. I’m sure they will each find their true love or soul mate & it may take day’s,month’s, or year’s but fate will show them the way. But, who know’s, fate may take each of them on a journey straight back to each other!! So I wish the very best for Rob and for Kristen..

Kristen and Rob does not need the extra stress of attending an event like the Golden Globes. They need to do somethings alone. It takes the added pressure off of the other.. They do have very busy schedules you know. I am glad papa Stewart was there to give a nice big hug though.. Makes me all warm inside knowing there is family love and support. Very admirable.

Jennifer lawrence wins a golden globe before kristen stewart. Kristen has been acting since she was like what? 11. Jennifer picked better career moves than her. Jennifer didnt let anyone title herself. Kristen has..and thats why she hasnt one anything as serious as a golden globe or an oscar. Great job jennifer! I remember when years go i was rooting for her to play bella. Now im glad she didnt. She picked a much smarter career choice and look at her now…golden globe!

I don’t think jennifer NOT doing twilight is why she won a golden globe. however i do agree that she chooses more “acclaimed” roles than kristen. plus that whole “jennifer is a WAY better actress than kristen” thing. jennifer is also more polished & can make it through an interview without looking like she’s having a seizure or “um’ing” us to death. i’m not a hunger games or jennifer fan but obvious is obvious. rob has 5 films coming up w/ both acclaimed actors & directors, it’s very smart of him to NOT show up to a huge a-list hollywood function with kristen … it helps him dump his twilight persona!

Kristen didn’t go last year either. It’s rob’s night and they want to be seen as individuals now. They do the same thing at their respective movie premieres too. This is nothing new. There’s a good chance she’ll go to an after party with him although last year he went to a party briefly then went right home. He’d probably rather go home and spend time with Kristen, bear and Bernie. Hl leave them alone and stop with the rumors.

I didn’t expect her to go to the awards because Rob and her never go together. They still aren’t public about there relationship they like to keep on the down low and we all know this so it’s not a shocker. That “they’re not public” argument doesn’t wash anymore, especially when she confessed her love for Rob after she was caught cheating. Despite her dad giving the hug, the social media is going to explode over this.
