Perrie sent Zayn the sweetest birthday message ever on Jan. 12!

Zayn Malik turned 20-years-old on Jan. 12. The One Direction member received a ton of birthday wishes from his bandmates and fans through Twitter and Instagram, but it was his girlfriend Perrie Edwards who sent the best message!

Perrie wrote on Jan. 12, “Happy Birthday my beautiful babe, I love you Zayn. XXXXX 20 came fast! Love you love you love you XxXxXxXx Pez.”

Aside from having the best girlfriend EVER, Zayn and his bandmates also have a new music video out — “Kiss You.”

‘Kiss You’ Director On One Direction’s New Video

The director of the boys’ new video, Vaughan Arnell, spoke with MTV News about how the new video marks a major departure for One Direction:

“The ultimate tease, I think it’s as you’ve never seen the boys before, kind of studio-based. I wouldn’t say comedy, it’s all tongue-in-cheek,” he said. “And I think in the past, the boys have always been outside, it’s always been kind of quite location-based, and this is the first studio-based idea I’ve done with them,” Vaughan continued. “And as a tease you’re going to see them dressed as Hollywood [stars], you’re going to see them dressed as ’50s sailors, you got the boys surfing. There’s a lot going on in this one, so as a tease, it’s as you’ve never seen the boys before.”

We think this video just might be One Direction’s best!
