All hail ‘Niley’! Nick posted this photo on his Instragram on Jan. 10, letting all his fans know he is officially recording the song he allegedly wrote about ex-girlfriend Miley Cyrus!

Nick Jonas, 20, debuted a song called “Wedding Bells” at the Jonas Brothers’ comeback concert on Oct. 11 in New York. His ex-girlfrind Miley Cyrus, 20, even spoke out saying she thinks it’s about her! Now, he’s in the studio — we can’t wait to hear the song and their new album!

Nick Talks About ‘Wedding Bells’

“We’re in the process of recording a new album, which is both good and bad,” Nick said about the song during the concert. He added that, as a songwriter,  ”you have the responsibility to dive into subjects that make us uncomfortable and write about them. So far, the creation of this record has been a very wide range of subjects that we talked about before. It’s about enjoying those moments and staying in those moments. And some are momentary in the sense that you have to write a song and apologize for it later. I don’t think I’ve ever written a song that makes me as uncomfortable as this song does.”

Nick added, “Some things happened in this past year that affected me a certain way in that moment and I had to go write a song about it in that moment and although it’s not the way I feel at this moment in time, hopefully this gives you a glimpse into what that experience was like for me.”

“It’s an incredibly thing and it should be valued when you appreciate someone and care for someone and there is history. But as you move on in your life, and move into maturity, you have to take the experience with you as memories and not your reality. This song is called ‘Wedding Bells.’”

Miley Responds To The Song

Miley spoke about “Wedding Bells” with Ryan Seacrest on his radio show on Thursday, Oct. 18, and when asked if the song is about her, she said:

“I don’t know who else is getting married…so I feel like that’s pretty blatant, it’s whatever.”

She continued, adding:

“Like I said, everyone has to write songs that are about things that they felt and he even introduced that this isn’t the way that I am. So, you can’t ever hate on someone for writing about something you’ve been through. I think that you kind of get a fair warning when you date an artist and someone that’s a writer. When you’re going through things that you’re going to end up hearing about it on the radio.”

As Ryan continued to pry, Miley backed off slightly, saying, “I don’t know…wedding bells are in my future, so I don’t know.”

HollywoodLife.com has speculated that Miley and her fiancé, Liam Hemsworth, were secretly married on Christmas morning, since Liam has been spotted multiple times wearing a wedding ring on his left hand.
