‘X-Men: First Class’ co-stars, Jennifer and Nicholas, have reportedly called it quits because they ‘grew apart.’ So sad!
Jennifer Lawrence and her boyfriend Nicholas Hoult have called it quits after two years of dating. Jennifer, 22, and her British beau Nicholas, 23, met on the set of X-Men: First Class in 2011 and romance quickly blossomed. Alas, it’s over. Is it possible that Nicholas is jealous after Jennifer got her second Oscar nomination on Jan. 10?
Jennifer & Nicholas’ Split
The Hunger Games actress and Nicholas reportedly broke up because of their busy schedules, says a new report. “They’re young and grew apart,” Jennifer’s pal tells In Touch. “But they remain friends.” So sad!
Jennifer has been busy filming Catching Fire – the second Hunger Games film — while Nicholas is gearing up to promote his new flick Warm Bodies. And it looks like signs of a split were there for a while, as the young couple have not been seen together for some time.
Jennifer has been hitting the red carpet hard lately, as she appeared at the People’s Choice Awards on Jan. 9, and then the Critics’ Choice Awards on Jan. 10. She was joined at neither awards ceremony by Nicholas. While her romantic life might be in the toilet, her career is going from strength to strength!
Jennifer’s Awards Success
Jennifer and her Hunger Games pals reigned supreme on Jan. 9, as the franchise took home five awards. Jennifer won Favorite Movie Actress and Face Of Heroism, while on Jan. 10, she took home two awards at the Critics Choice Awards for her performances in HG and Silver Linings Playbook.
It has been a big week for Jennifer, as she got her second Best Actress Oscar nomination for her role in Silver Linings Playbook. You go girl! She may be single, but on Feb. 24 she may be taking home a new man. A little gold one.
Let’s just hope it’s not awkward for the former couple when they begin filming the next X-Men movie later this year!

I dont know if it sad or not. She is gorgeous, smart and talented. She can chose the best way by herself! She s still young to care about love or whatever! Sometimes, the far distance love just makes us tired and wanna give up…. Just good luck for her and him!
