So cute! Kate Middleton celebrated her 31st birthday with Prince William, sister Pippa Middleton, brother James Middleton, and parents Carole and Michael Middleton, at a London showing of Cirque du Soleil on Jan. 10!
Prince William, Kate Middleton and the rest of their royal party arrived to London’s Royal Albert Hall around 7:15 PM on Jan. 10, where they took in an extravagant showing of Cirque du Soleil, Kooza, in celebration of Kate’s 31st birthday!
Kate, 31, and William, 30, looked extremely happy, according to E! Online. Kate was spotted laughing, clapping, gasping, pulling her hair across her face and curling into William (PDA alert!).
During the 25-minute intermission, the group was said to have returned to their room and then came back for the second half of the show. They left when the show concluded around 10:45 PM. Luckily for pregnant Kate, Albert Hall is located right across the street from Kensington Palace!
Kate’s sister Pippa Middleton, brother James Middleton, parents Carole and Michael Middleton, pal Sophie Carter, cousins Lucy and Adam Middleton, pals Teddy Foyle and David Jardine-Paterson, and Kate’s old schoolmates Trini Foyle and Emilia Jardine-Paterson also attended the festivity!
Kate Middleton Portrait — Ugly Painting Of Duchess
We’re glad Kate had an amazing birthday, because one day later on Jan. 11, her first official portrait was revealed at London’s National Portrait Gallery. The painting was described as “rotten” and looks “nothing like Kate in real life.” The portrait was painted by Paul Emsley, who’s known for his photographic style.
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Was this a good way for Kate to celebrate her birthday?

Lucky Kate. I went today to the Royal Albert Hall to see this show to celebrate my husbands 70th birthday. They cancelled the matinee! I expect this was so Kate could enjoy her 31st. Lots of elderly people in wheelchairs had travelled miles to see the show. One young girl saved all year for her 30th birthday. I am out of pocket due to travelling expenses. I now know why the show cancelled so the security was ok. We had purchased a box and they wouldnt open it up.
Going off Kate and Wills fast.

Waity Kate

She couldn’t even sit in her seat like an adult. Put her hair in her face…got ticked off when William wouldn’t whisper with her {threw her head back and sank dramatically in her seat like a 5 year old…..}, she’s got no dignity and always it shows.
