Taylor Lautner was spotted leaving an L.A. Clippers basketball game on Jan. 9 with his high school sweetheart and Clippers cheerleader Sara Hicks — are they on-again?

Is Taylor Lautner off the market? He was spotted driving near the Staples center after watching a basketball game. His ex-girlfriend Sara Hicks is a cheerleader for the team so it seems likely he was there to support her and then gave her a ride home. Do YOU think they are back together, HollywoodLifers?

In the December 2012 issue of Cosmopolitan, Taylor admitted it can be “quite easy to rekindle” a relationship, if it was serious. Do YOU think he’s still hung up on his ex?

Taylor, 20, met Sara in high school, and over the past few years, the two have been spotted together quite often.

Taylor spoke to Cosmo: “I absolutely think it’s possible [to reunite with an ex]. It depends on how long you were with that person. If it was a long, serious relationship, I think it’s quite easy to rekindle. I guess it depends on what damage has been done. There’s no ex out there who I’m not friends with today, and I’m extremely thankful for that.”

In light of co-star Kristen Stewart‘s cheating scandal, he said he’s “never been involved in any of those situations.” Let’s hope it stays that way!

In between his on-again/off-again romance with Sara, he famously dated Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift.

Swift even wrote her song “Back To December” about their relationship.

My advice to you, find new object of stalker, in Hollywood so full a promising actors, such as Liam Hemsworth, Hutcherson, Efron, Pattinson ..
Switch your attention to the more successful guys, those who have a strong and smart PR team, who does everything right in their life, they have a clever and well designed PR management, please, go to them.
And why would he need to go to the Golden Globes?

There are not objective reasons to attend such events, and Taylor did not go there.

his crimes are reduced to the fact :he appears somewhere spending time with his friends, and very rarely being photographed and we sometimes get pictures of him from the paparazzi! his personal PR minimized in comparison to other celebrities..
he does not care for all this rumors, do not care about your opinion of Sara, and even if he wants to leave for a while the acting profession & film Industry , or take a break like Joseph Gordon Levitt, for example,it will be only his choice, and you do not specify him what to do next.

he is not ideal, like any other person, but do not hang on him a non-existent sins.

Interesting that he shows up single at his supposed gf rivals game. Agree with aquarius64 it looks like he is sending a message that they may not be more than friends. Maybe he can take Swift to the Grammys day before his birthday, nice way to celebrate. They are supposed to be friends and she Needs a nice guy friend to give a little moral support right now. You want to see buzz…not self serving because they need to give it another shot anyway. He is getting it for gay washed up and she is getting it for slut prude rumors. I read an article that Taylor had a boys’ night out with Patrick Schwarzenegger, Connor Cruise, & Corey Moneith (sp)…..at a LAKERS game. Aren’t the Lakers and the Clippers big basketball rivals in LA? A loyal boyfriend does not go to a game his girlfriend cheers for while you go to the game of its rival the next few days. To me, this has to be a slap in the face to Sara: Taylor’s announcing to the world Sara has no sway over him; that she does not have him on lockdown; that it looks like he doesn’t really support her, and mainly – he’s not that into her. She knew the history – her choice.

@Lana – I simply don’t buy the BS. You and others have fallen for the fantasy he has put out there to get your money. He may still have admirers, but there are not enough of you to convince a studio to pay him $10 million dollars or more to headline a movie. They saw the numbers for Abduction and right now studio execs are not willing to roll the dice. At this time they don’t believe they will get a return in their investrment with Taylor at the helm. He has to prove himself now that Twilight is over. Girls squeeing over him are not going to be enough; they will eventually grow up and outgrow the crush on him. To be an action star, if that’s the route he’s going, guys – the main demographic for that genre – have to like him enough to pay $10 – $15 to see him in a movie. He has to broaden his appeal to be successful, period.

And I don’t worry for Sara; I think she’s an idiot for going back to him after how he has treated her. If he dogs her this time around she has no one to blame but herself. I still think the right starlet will come around and he’ll drop her again.

Taylor’s ambition is why he’s in career pugatory now.

Taylor signed on to do Max Steel but in the same week he dropped that project to do Stretch Armstrong. That move hacked off the producer of Max Steel for sticking it to him like this. Looks like karma came back on him and he was dropped from the Stretch Armstrong movie. The party line is he was the one that did the dropping, but industry sources say Taylor got kicked to the curb. He was a minor for Stretch Armstrong, but this following mess was on his watch when he was 19, AN ADULT UNDER THE LAW: a prominent PR agencyTaylor as a client because of his overbearing stage dad. Taylor’s team never confirmed or denied that story, but at 19 he was old enough to tell his dad to butt out, especially since he’s the breadwinner in that household. In following stories about projects for him (what little that comes out) Taylor’s dad is no where around or mentioned.

His romances get the PR meme because the rollouts are all the same: photographed coming out of a front entrance of a venue and and allowed to be photographed sitting in a car. Can they at least try to be different? The dog in him has been alleged A LOT on him: he cheated on Sara with Selena Gomez while filming New Moon and again with Lily Collins while filming Abduction. I think he was with Sara while filming Valentine’s Day with Taylor Swift. What did we get: Taylor Squared. Taylor hit complete doggishness with the Taylor Squared reunion stories that were flying before the premiere of Abduction. There was no announcement of a break-up with Lily during that time, and he didn’t deny he was back with Swifty even for a moment. Even if T2 reconstitued was for PR, it was bad PR because it made him look like he was openly cheating on a recognized gf with an ex. And sniffing around Kristen on Rob’s watch doesn’t make him look like Mr. Nice Guy. If he hooks up with Kristen after a Robsten bust up, it would confirm the cheating allegations of Kristen and Taylor that go all the way back to New Moon are true in the public’s mind. Taylor would become Rupert Sanders 2.0.

Why would Sara would tolerate being known as the recycled high school ex-girlfriend after she has been on a date-and-dump pattern with this guy? (I know the current tab stories are trying to clean up the dating history with a love-is-better-a-second-time-around vibe, but it is what it is.) Theory: she washed out on the first round for “So You Think You Can Dance”. She is now a Clippers girl, a gig that pays $75 A GAME during the regular season, maybe more during a playoff or championship game. It’s still not enough to support yourself in LA with just that income. This kind of job is for supplementing a main paycheck, or cover expenses for going to school. She didn’t win the lottery, she’s not an heiress. She doesn’t have money in her own right. Taylor’s paying her bills? I ain’t saying she’s a goldigger, but she comes off like one for taking back a guy who has treated her badly over and over again. When he films Tracers and he can’t keep his hands off his love interest in that movie when the cameras stop rolling, the countdown clock on Sara will start again.

Taylor’s cute but this stuff is off-putting. That’s what has put off some people on him in my opinion, among other things.

And there is no serious reason to consider him gay.
The gay rumors refers to any handsome young actor, I’m sure Taylor and his friends do not care about all the rumors.

He’s at the moment in the development of two of the project.
It’s not so bad.
In the end, the producers if they are interested in it, can wait.
in February he turns 21, he will become an adult, and it will change a lot.

If Sarah wants to be with him (and she wants to be with him, obviously) – it will always be with him.

His career is swirling down the toilet right now and all he has to keep himself out there is this same old revolving planned out story.
Everytime the gay chatter starts up BOOM he’s out with Sara Hicks.
Fans are tired of this cover up/publicity story and are moving on. These message boards used to be filled with comments and now they sit pretty much empty. They want movie and career news.
Sara Hicks can flaunt herself around with Taylor all she wants but she will never be famous for anything except being Taylor Lautner’s Ex-girlfriend. It’s sad that he is an actor that can’t get work and drags her out to keep himself out there.

Agreed. For example, why wasn’t he at the Golden Globes, even the after parties? Nene from the Real Housewives of Atlanta walked the red carpet for such a glittering event, and the best Lautner’s team can do is get “papped” photo ops with him coming out of restaurants and he and the gf of the moment is papped in a car. And he wonders why people think his romances are PR? They all unfold the same.

His plan of action:

Dump his team, including Dad. They are incapable of getting him into events he needs to be seen to advance his career.

Dump Sara. He went from women who are wealthy in their own right or have show biz pedigrees to a girl who washed out in the first round in a dance competition and is a glorified pom-pom girl . The high school sweetheart angle doesn’t work; it’s a sanitized version of the date-and-dump history of these two. He’s only with her because there’s no high profile girl to date.

These factors are announcing Taylor’s C-list status to the world.

I am not saying he is gay (I personally think he is) but I think it’s kind of sad that she has to be involved just so he can hang out with another GU2 cast member or another guy for that matter. I admit when I seen him show up with Patrick I needed to get a closer look at him (Patrick) to see if he might be gay!
I think with Lautner’s gay history and Patrick just getting a career started they throw Sara in the mix to make Patrick sure we are clear that Patrick is not gay. If you were a young attractive guy just getting your career started you would not want to be seen hanging around town with Lautner! Whether he’s gay or not, the rumors still stand. If I were Patrick, I would not want to be seen with Lautner and would probably flip out on my team and whine about how I don’t want to be seen out looking like I’m gaying it up with him.
He shows up with Patrick and Sara has been dong this cheerleading thing for awhile and after the game is over they jump in a car together! Seems to me that he wanted to attend a Clipper’s game with his friend Patrick.
If he was there to support Sara he would have done it a long time ago and someone would have seen him. He hasn’t been doing anything career wise so he has all the time in the world to attend the “rumored gfs” games to support her but he chooses not to.
Ditching Sara Hicks and actually working would be the best thing for him. He will never get rid of the gay rumors but the few people that are left in his fan base will have something to talk about and get excited over rather than “Is he dating Sara or is it off this week?” I personally think his career is over but if there is a chance of it picking back up, he can start to date famous females again. Hopefully if he gets another chance his team will be smart enough to throw this story out of rotation because it is becoming really hard to buy it.

Taylor never set the purpose to visit all ceremonies connected with cinema. What did he forget now on this Golden Globes? You again impose him advertizing strategy where there is no place to the human relations. Everything at you is based on PR. I think it’s unnatural for Taylor. Don’t force him to lead artificial life. @Chris – I don’t believe the gay rumors but I can see where you believe Sara is with him for the publicity. i read she went to that dance competition show “So You Think You Can Dance”. Sara washed out on the first round according to the story, so the judges thought she can’t dance. These judges were serious professionals in the dance world. I can’t see no other reason why she has been willing to be dogged the way she has been by Lautner.

@Jean – sorry, I’m not stopping voicing my opinion to please you. And he’s only “open” with her because he can’t get a high-profile girl to date him now. If Sara is that special, Selena, Taylor Swift and Lily would have NEVER came into the picture. You can call the high-profile girls flings all you want, it shows he didn’t respect Sara. People are saying a 1000x worse than what I said about these two…consensus is Sara is the latest beard. I don’t believe the gay rumors, but how he treats her certainly fuels them. AND his career is on the slide, no one is hiring him as a lead for a movie (Tracers doesn’t count, a favor granted by the Twilight connection). Abduction made 28 million in 12 WEEKS in the U.S markets. Those are bad numbers as far as studios are concern. It made a little profit thanks to the foreign markets (82 million overall) but that’s still low for an action movie. He got shot down for “Expendables 2″ because of Abduction’s box office. As for the ol’ “give him time” defense – studios are not going to give him time when there’s money to be made. It’s doesn’t matter how many teen/tween girls and desperate housewives squee over his looks or personality; if it doesn’t translate into hefty box office receipts they won’t hire him. There are too many actors they can get to deliver the goods. Lautner needs to get it together or he goes to the land of one-hit wonders.

Taylor must be desperate for publicity now that Twilight is over. He’s willing to be papped with a girl he’s treated like crap for four yeas. He’s never shown up at her games before, when Twilight was going. He’s dated and dumped Sara at least three times, and no, this is not the mark of true love. It’s the mark of having a girl that’s convenient until something better comes along. (They try to create some buzz with him and Ashley Benson.) A precusor of Kaurreche Tran, Chris Brown’s sidepiece. That’s not true because they broke up and he started dating Selena Gomez but they were forced to break up and then he started dating Taylor Swift and she dumped him and wrote Back to December because she regret dumping him and she wanted him back and I heard he didn’t take her back because he’s still loves Selena. It’s pretty obvious look at them at award shows and etc and A Year Without Rain is about him. Taylor said plenty times before that him and Sara are just best friends now and she has a boyfriend. And he always tells people in interviews that he’s single
