Selena Gomez’s Parents Think Justin Bieber Is A ‘Bad Influence’?

Justin better behave himself! After their most recent breakup, Selena’s parents have allegedly warned her that Justin is no good, so Selena is now ‘done with him.’

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have broken up yet again, and it looks like Selena’s mom Mandy Cornett and stepdad Brian Teefey are happy about it, as they think that Justin is a “bad influence.” Well, he did just get caught smoking what appeared to be marijuana ! Selena and Justin broke up after a blow out fight in Mexico on Dec. 30, and Selena’s mom was so concerned for her safety that she reportedly made Selena come home early. The on/off pair have yet to reconcile.

Selena’s Parents Are Concerned

Selena’s parents are concerned that Justin is not a good person for Selena, 20, to have in her life. “Her parents think that he is a bad influence on her,” an insider tells Us Weekly. “Selena is done with him.”

Justin, 18, has made a few questionable decisions in recent weeks, as not only was he caught smoking what looked like marijuana, but he also posted a picture of a vodka bottle after Christmas. And on Justin and Selena’s New Year’s vacation in Mexico, their fight was so colossal that Selena left their villa and checked into the Ritz-Carlton, and her mom begged her to come home early.

Selena’s mom has been there for her through thick and thin, and Selena has thanked her many times in countless speeches for helping her make it in showbusiness. And you know what they say, “mother knows best!”

Did Selena Know Justin Was Bad News?

HollywoodLife.com previously reported a video of Selena and her girlfriends dancing to her BFF Taylor Swift‘s song “I Knew You Were Trouble”, which seemed like a diss to Justin. In the video, she sings along to the hit song about a bad boy, and at the end, she lies with her friends and says, “you would think that we would know better!”

It looks like Selena is well aware that Justin is a bad influence! Will this make it impossible for a reconciliation?

Perhaps influence is the wrong word. Sometimes people change when they are in a relationship, and it’s not always for the better? As a parent I can understand their concerns. As I would imagine his own parents might have some questions and concerns. Selena turns 21 this year and although it’s not a big age gap, it does seem like they have grown or are growing in different directions. Time to move on…… The heart does not forget, but you live and learn from it, we hope:)

iF rumours are true justin and harry styles might be going to Vegas for a brocation (or whatever that’s supposed to mean) and harry is like a down to earth, friendly guy so without lil twist justin might be in process in coming back maybe harry will get him to his usual state

I mean one direction members are famous for their sweet, down to earth selves so hopefully justin will return

She’s being mature because she’s taking her parent’s opinions into account. Your parents love you and they have a sixth sense when it comes to men. Being protective is making sure your child is safe.

Yes. They are done and they should stay away from each other. If they go back it is not going to work and the fights will keep escalating until they hate each other. Leave him for good. His fame went up to his head and he can’t help being famous and wealthy. He feels entitled to anything and everything. Run Selena and don’t go back. Get over him. If Justin has been in bed with another girl, I am sure the media would have caught on to it, or the girl will get jealous, and tell the world. Selena Gomez!!! Have your man move in with you so you can communicate. Love was not meant to be apart, but be together. There are no easy solutions when you are in love. I smoked at an early age. I am now a successful business man. 90% of the collage kids are on some type of illegal drug. Does this mean that they will not be successful in life?

Stay positive Roxy, give love a chance, especially when it’s not yours. Not all couples split or hate each other over several escalating fights. Send a twitter to Selena, and ask if Justin was; “fame went up to his head and he can’t help being famous and wealthy.” After all that’s her man for over 2 years.
