The beautiful ‘Glee’ star debuted an intricate braided updo for the 39th Annual People’s Choice Awards at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on January 9, 2013 in Los Angeles, California. What do you think of the look? Vote below!

Lea Michele, 26, took a break from her signature beachy waves and blunt bangs for a complicated braided updo for the red carpet event. The style certainly showed off her exotic beauty, but the look was a little hard to figure out.

A definite departure for the glamorous star, the braided updo put all the focus on her gorgeous brown  eyes and olive skin. At last year’s People’s Choice Awards, Celebrity makeup artist Melanie Inglessis created a fresh, fun look to compliment Lea’s bright white Marchesa dress. “A pink lip is a modern twist on the classic red lip and looks beautiful when the rest of the face is natural,” said Melanie. She used a vivid bright pink lip as the focal point to her look and kept her the eye makeup smoky yet subtle and accentuating Lea’s olive skin with a shimmery bronzer.

Lea has quickly become such a beauty icon. The star recently sighed a deal with iconic beauty brand,  L’Oréal Paris. “I’ve been using L’Oréal my whole life — everything from hair care to beauty,” Lea told WWD, “It’s just amazing to get to sit here and say everything has led up to this.”

It’s clear Lea’s beauty look just keeps getting better and better every day. And we love that she switches it up often.
