It’s amazing what a few hours can do! The star went from bundled up and incognito to totally making a statement IN the spotlight on the very same day! She looked sophisticated and glam — but which way do you think she looks better? VOTE!
During the day on Jan. 8, 27-year-old Amanda Seyfried was spotted all covered up on the streets of NYC while walking her dog. Later on that day, she donned a gorgeous, shimmering Bottega Veneta Spring 2013 dress at the National Board of Review Awards.
When she first stepped out in the frigid NYC weather she was seen sporting a puffy, long black coat with a purple scarf. On her head, she wore a multi-colored beanie and sunglasses to avoid paparazzi. She did a great job with covering up because she was almost completely unrecognizable! Even though this look wasn’t glitzy, she looked really comfy (and her dog is adorable)!
Later on at the event, she donned a gold and cream embellished dress, and she looked so chic. Her light features and glossy, blonde hair are stunning, and the crimson lip adds the perfect pop of color to her face and the whole ensemble. The open back added such a sexy touch to her look. She finished off the get-up with Alexandre Birman sandals and Norman Silverman jewels.
Not only is her gown gorgeous, but she seems to be genuinely happy and so confident in her frock. Could it be because she is so in love with her role in Les Miserables? Amanda tells Hello magazine, “Les Miserables has been a big part of my life. I sang Cosette’s A Heart Full of Love when I was 15 and gave my first recital, now to have made the film is the most amazing feeling in the world.” It must be a dream come true to star in the high-rated film, which is currently in theaters!
“I was only 11 when I first saw it, and ever since I’ve been hoping and wanting to be a part of it. Playing Cosette is proof that life has a way of making things come full circle if you want something badly enough. I wanted the role more than anything I’ve ever wanted in my life.”
Well, Amanda looked stunning in her gown and made quite the transformation from earlier that day. Go see her in Les Miserables in theaters now, and VOTE on whether you like her all dolled up or dressed down!
