Come on, Taylor! Just because you had a fight with Harry doesn’t mean you should have stormed off from your vacation. If you love someone, you need to stay with them and work it out!
That clearly seemed to be a major hint that you thought Harry had put you down. But even if he did, Taylor, you have to realize that in romantic relationships, people make mistakes and say things that they shouldn’t, all the time!
It can be hurtful and infuriating, but that doesn’t mean that you should just end a romance immediately. What kind of relationship were you having with Harry if it and he could be ditched after just one fight?
If Taylor Wasn’t Rich, She Couldn’t Have Jetted Away From Harry
Taylor — think about it. If you weren’t a huge star and incredibly wealthy, you wouldn’t even have been able to leave your vacation. You wouldn’t have been able to afford to just get a on new flight or private plane to take you away from the boyfriend that you were furious with. You probably couldn’t have even afforded to take the less drastic route of just getting your own room.
In other words, if you were just a regular girl like the rest of us, you would have been forced to stay with Harry. Maybe the two of you would have spent an afternoon or a day without talking, but then one of you would most probably have broken the ice and started a conversation or one of you would have apologized, after you simmered down.
Unless Harry was physically, verbally or emotionally abusive, you should have stayed if you loved and cared for Harry. You should have talked through your disagreement like two adults.
Storming off and leaving, was a copout. It might mean that you actually really didn’t care about Harry and your relationship with him. Maybe it was just a shallow fling meant for fun only, so it wasn’t worth investing too much emotionally.
Should You Really Have Run Away From Your Romance- Was It Irredeemable?
Or maybe, you care so deeply that you were overreaching, in which case you really should have stayed. In either case- you literally ran away from your romance.
At 18, Harry is younger than you are at 23. But it seems like he actually behaved more maturely — after all, he didn’t leave, Virgin Gorda.
Taylor — the problem with what you did is that yes, it was a dramatic move and it certainly got your point across to Harry that he can’t diss you (if he did), but it also put thousands of miles between you.
Now You’re Having A Long Distance Split Instead of Just An Argument
Long distance fights are far worse than when you’re dealing with relationship issues in person. They are so much harder to resolve, especially when both of you have such frantically busy schedules.
Are you totally convinced that there is no redeeming what seemed to be a very promising romance with Harry?
You’ve definitely made it harder for the two of you to get back together now. Was that really what you wanted?
Or Taylor, has Harry Styles proved to be another man that you are “Never Ever Getting Back Together” with?
What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Should Taylor Swift have acted like a normal, non-celeb young woman and NOT jetted away from her boyfriend after a fight or was she right to have done it? Let me know!
