But the Teen Mom 2 pair insits they are stronger than ever and are denying divorce rumors. However, his ex-fiance Alicia Townsend revealed Courtland reached out to her on Dec. 30 to say he’s “miserable” in his marriage.
“Courtland tried to reach me on Facebook and he ended up getting my number from a mutual acquaintance and texted me before finally calling me,” Alicia told RadarOnline.com.
“I asked him about married life, and he said he wasn’t happy and it wasn’t going well. He said to me, ‘I know it’s not going to last,’” she added.
Then Alicia asked about his wife’s MTV paycheck — and if that motivated their quickie nuptials.
“I brought up how now that he’s married to Jenelle he gets half of whatever she makes and asked if that’s why he married her,” Alicia said. “He just got quiet and laughed.”
Jenelle Evans Speaks Out On Rumored Marriage Trouble
Jenelle took to twitter to defend her marriage, and called Alicia a “liar.” She even posted screenshots of their Facebook conversations, in which Jenelle talked to Alicia about Courtland and his drama with his baby mama Taylor — but Jenelle fires back to Alicia that she didn’t reach out to Courtland herself.
“This is all I talked to u about Alicia … Don’t kno why u had to lie saying u talked to Courtland,” Jenelle tweeted on Jan. 8.
